The doctor kept us waiting for 45 minutes and then entered the room to request the reason for my mom's visit (one would think he knew this answer already). He was told it was to review my mother's medications to determine what she should no longer need to take. He then threw out a few bottles. I was there to ask questions as to my mother's state of health since I was visiting. He asked where I was from, I said I was visiting from LA. Big mistake- started talking politics which is beyond unprofessional and truly uncalled for. He spent maybe 10 minutes with my mother, did not provide any physical exam, handed her husband a script written with a request for in-home care and then we were told the appointment was over and that she was scheduled to return in a month. Who writes a referral on a prescription pad? This confused her husband. To top it off, the referral was never handled. We were called to set up the referral on 11/13. My mother's appointment with the doctor was 10/24. My mother ended up in the hospital on 10/26 due to an infection she got from a wound on her leg. Had she been examined, we might have caught it sooner. I don't recommend this doctor. I live in a big city, his attitude matches it. No empathy. I am adding one star, because he was a referral from her pastor who is a kind man.

It is the only Dr. visit I have experienced in which the Dr. first greets you in his office and has a conversation of your expectations and concerns. I had an amazing experience with my delivery and was very happy to be in his care for the duration of my pregnancy. He is opened minded and takes into consideration your personal opinions. Even though office visits can be lengthy, the nurses and the staff in the office are very likable and friendly. I really like my nurse Mara! and she is always in a good mood and takes care of all my concerns. The office while small, is very clean and organized and its located in a building across from South Miami Hospital, super convenient!

I have been struggling to find a doctor that would help me with my severe & debilitating period & ovulation pain. After hearing what my symptoms were we decided that he would perform laparoscopic surgery on me. Finally after 2.5 years of pain and not knowing what was going on in my body he gave me a diagnosis of endometriosis. I am still going through treatment with him but I can confidently say that I trust him and his recommendations with absolutely no doubts. Thank you so much Dr. Perez I am legitimately crying tears of relief while writing this. P.S. the wait time can be long, but that's because he makes sure his patients are treated properly. He listens to me and my worries. He takes all precautions, & I would go as far to say he took extra measures just to make sure my babies and I were healthy. I ended up moving away when I got pregnant with my third son and I went to 2 different doctors where I lived but it just wasn't a comparison to Dr. K and his staff that I drove down to him to have the baby and even for some appointments . He was always available to answer my questions and put me at ease and I was so grateful! During my delivery I needed a c-section even though it wasn't in my original birth plan. Dr K knew my anxiety was through the roof about it and provided such a calm environment during my delivery. At the end of it I had such a positive delivery and know my doctor made the right call for my son and I. I recommend Dr. K to all my family and friends!

I ended up switching doctors based on reviews I read about Dr. Jacqueline Ramirez. Mostly what convinced me was her attitude. I'm a big believer in doctors caring about their patients and not treating them like a number and she fits the bill. She's a bit different than doctors I'm used to. She has a D.O. rather than an M.D. and admittedly that made me hesitant, but meeting her and being attended by her changed that. I have never felt so comfortable with a primary physician. It felt like talking to a friend, and when I went back to get lab work results, I ended up seeing another doctor at this office and it's the same feeling. You cannot go wrong at this office. At least with the doctors. Very humane, very willing to help. The only reason I give four stars instead of five is because I had to call LabCorp for being billed inappropriately. Eh, that's what I get for doing the lab work at the office for $20, but it is what it is. Mistakes happen.

The staff was very friendly and very organized. The doctors was very attentive to my grandfathers needs. He was very professional and kind. My grandfather also doesn't drive. The office Manager ( Mrs. Hernandez ) was able to coordinator transport for all his appointments. She was great!! Dr. Garces office is extremely clean and inviting. I highly recommend Dr. Garces as an extremely experienced primary and endocrinologist.

According to his assistant he heard a recording of how rude i was with his staff and decided to drop a 90 year old patient. I consulted with my attorney and he said it was against the law for the office to record,. let alone not advise of the recording. Additionally, the Dr. had his office call to drop this patient without so much as a regret. Refused to request his referrals for upcoming appointments, so do not think much of this physician. Grievance will be filed with the insurance to drop this physician from the plan.
