This past weekend felt like summer and that means mango time! I got my go to mango smoothie with cheese foam and it still was as good as the former franchise name :) Despite there being a long line, I still feel like we got served relatively quickly and the staff were friendly. Def going to be busy all summer long

After the ridiculous lines died down I managed to put in an order for Mango Pomelo Sago. The flavour isn't as strong as Macu was originally. All I can taste is evaporated milk. The mango was frozen fruit and not fresh. I don't taste the pomelo at all.

Located where Macu Tea used to be. They just had their soft opening yesterday and the lineup was out the door. Staff was friendly and efficient. Although the store was packed we didn't wait too long for our drink. Their mango smoothie tasted very similar to what Macu Tea used to serve.

Delicious, lots of different flavour combinations to try from!…read more Friendly staff, and willing to modify different flavours to create what you're looking for. Have been going here for 3-4ish years, same quality, theres been drinks i haven't liked but then so many i have but what I may not like could be another persons yum and what i like might be another persons yuck. Can find whatever you're looking for, not only just cold bubble tea but you can get hot drinks, icecream, food, sweets and more! Definitely worth trying it out :)

We got one of those and a Durian Smoothie. I think we somehow missed the Greentea part of this drink cuz when we got it, hubby and I were both surprised at how green the drink was. It's only now that I look back at the photo I took of the menu that I realize the word Greentea was in the name of the drink so...not so surprising anymore that our drink was green. I honestly didn't taste much Greentea in it though. Mostly I tasted KitKat and Brown Sugar. Didn't taste any kind of Cheesecake flavor in it. It wasn't a bad drink but I think I prefer the fruity drinks that we've had from this place in the past. I think I'd have also preferred this drink to be slightly less sweet than it was. We brought our drinks home and had them while watching a movie. Hubby sat further back in the room while our daughter and I sat in the front of the room, but I could still smell the Durian smoothie from where we were sitting!

I was a bit disappointed that the menu didn't seem to match up with the purchase kiosk. I really wanted to try their matcha tiramisu but found it was gone from the menu. I settled for a brown sugar pearl milk tea instead. I thought the drink was good. It might have been a tad too sweet but I got used to it after a bit. The pearls were solid overall. It wasn't an amazing experience but I'm willing to come back again. I do wish the menus are a bit more up to date as it was a bummer to not try something exotic sounding that appealed to me.

I've had Macu Tea at their Pasadena/LA location, and the mangoes there were bland. But here at the Robson spot, I ordered the King of Mango, and it was absolutely delicious. It was super refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness. The drink only comes in one size, but it was perfect for two people to share, packed with mango goodness and all the toppings. Half of the store is actually used for mango inventory storage, which tells you how serious they are about their fruit. There are only two tables, and we were lucky to snag one so most people take their drinks to go. The line does get pretty long, and while they have one self-order kiosk, they could really use a second one. They also have a register, but that person seemed mostly focused on making drinks rather than taking orders.

It's been there for a while so starting to look a bit dated. Doing good business on a Saturday night, although we didn't have to wait for a table. We were not super hungry so just went for drinks and appetizers. They have a pretty sizable sweet drinks menu, with a lot of choices for toppings. I got the melon slush with half sugar. It was plenty sweet, and has the nice honeydew melon taste. For appetizers, we got the Taiwanese style chicken nuggets, and a mixed plate of braised meat and proteins. The chicken nuggets taste as expected, got good flavor, and was tender and not dry. For the braised plate, we got sliced pig ear, fish cake and sliced beef shank. I liked the flavors, and the beef shank was tender. Overall two drinks with two appetizer was like $43 before tips, so not expensive. Solid place to go for some inexpensive Taiwanese food and sweet drinks.

They offer so many different dishes (hot pot bowls, stir fry noodles, hot and cold appetizers, etc.) plus an extensive drink selection. One of my guilty pleasure meals from here is their popcorn chicken, intestine soup noodle, and their Hokkaido milk tea. The popcorn chicken is always made fresh and food portions are generous at the price point offered. There's a reason why Bubble World still maintains a number of locations throughout the Lower Mainland and business is steady. Service is prompt and decent too.
