I had agreed with the dentist to remove the review in exchange for a refund. Since I never received the promised refund, I am now reposting the review. Here it is: I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience at this dental office. I scheduled a tooth extraction after being told over the phone that my out-of-pocket cost would be $90 with insurance. Instead, I left with a $910 bill. The lack of financial transparency was extremely concerning. I was initially told that a bone graft would cost around $600, but during the procedure, that amount suddenly increased to $850--and I was required to pay immediately. What made the situation worse was the pressure I felt while still in the chair. The dentist pushed me to make an immediate decision between an implant or a bridge--both significant medical and financial choices that require time and proper explanation. I was also told that a bone graft was necessary right after the extraction, even though a bridge typically does not require one. When I questioned why these options and costs were not clearly explained beforehand, I was dismissively told, "We told you so," referring to information that had never been clearly communicated to me. At no point were the cost differences properly outlined. I also want to note that I never had any issues with the previous owner during my care, which makes this experience even more disappointing. At this point, I expect I may hear more explanations or even an apology, but that alone does not address the core issue of transparency and patient communication. Overall, I felt rushed, dismissed, and treated like just another number. Patients should never feel pressured into making major, permanent decisions on the spot. I would not recommend this office to anyone who values clear communication, transparency, and professional patient care.

I can't express enough how lucky I feel to have found this practice. 3 years ago my daughter had a tooth pulled with "zero pain". Last month I had my first cavity filled in 20 years. Wow, Dr Walby and his assistant whipped through that thing so quickly and seamlessly I wish I could have videoed it. Zero pain or discomfort. All done in about 20 minutes. I was waiting for there to be pain once my numbness wore off, but nope. In the past, I've had to go back to other dentists for them to correct the bite, but he did it perfectly right out of the gate. We're all impressed.

Honestly, from reception to hygienists/assistants, to the Dentists themselves. They are all caring, friendly, and great at their jobs. The office is always clean and comfortable, plus the rooms have nice murals or tvs to look at while they clean your teeth. We started as patients of Dr. Caris, who was absolutely phenomenal, but he has recently retired and passed the torch onto Dr. Buhay. We finally got the chance to meet him recently, and he too was fantastic! I have two young girls (they are 8 and 6), and they were a bit nervous to see a new dentist. He introduced himself to them as Dr. B, and he was incredibly kind and patient with them which really put them at ease. It was a great relief to us. Unfortunately they each ended up needed a filling, and they were able to schedule us in within a week to have them filled. When we brought them back, Dr. B (or Dr. Beautiful as my daughters have deemed him lol), and his team, were able to explain everything to them so that they were comfortable with the procedure. Both girls left with huge smiles on their faces. Honestly, my kids were smiling walking out of the room immediately after getting a cavity filled. If that doesn't speak volumes in itself about what a great place Farmbrook Family Dentistry is, then I don't know what else could. I genuinely feel like my family is in good hands with this office. In business for over 30 years, Dr. Pappas and Dr. Caris enjoy their work and care about their patients and employees. Farmbrook is a family owned business but their philosophy is treating employees and patients alike as members of the family! Office is a great size and very clean. Large waiting room and several exam rooms, some have themes in them to make that dreaded dentist visit less painful. Receptionists, assistants and hygienists are all friendly and welcoming. I had given up looking for a solution until my previous dentist recommended Dr. Haddad. I am now chewing without pain for the first time in decades. The price was astronomical, ( I actually waited a year to get the financing together for the crowns and the nighttime appliances) but worth every penny. The offices are competently staffed, extremely clean and professionally run. Dr. Haddad was extremely helpful in keeping my stress levels down by prescribing me some meds before the work prepping the teeth was done. A special thank you to each member of his team. I now continue with the practice for maintenance, with the same impressions I've had all along. I can't recommend the practice highly enough for anyone, but especially for dentist-avoiding patients as you feel at ease and pain-free whatever the procedure-from expert cleaning, cavities, extractions, to bone graft and implants, etc. Also, clear instructions, careful follow-up, and availability for questions or the unexpected.
