I have been going here for a few years and have always been treated with kindness. The front desk woman can be a little stern but she has to deal with people like me who cancel their appointments on occasion. I will say the last time I was here the wait was a longer wait than usual, but sometimes you have to wait. I don't know why people are complaining about waiting - that's life. I used to go to a doctor that always had at least a two hour wait every time I went. Waiting is a part of life and this is not a fast food joint. Some people obviously have never worked with people and don't understand that you have to wait on occasion. If your time is that precious then pay out of your pocket and go to a different dentist. I moved to the area awhile, but failed to find a local dentist. I found DK dental on my insurance company's website. They were terrific! They got my I'm for a cleaning same day. Customer service was awesome from the front desk, to the dental hygienist to the dentist. Actually looking forward to going back! read more

Where to even start...this office is leaps and bounds better than other dental offices in which I have been a patient. I just got back from my first appointment, and I'm actually looking forward to my next visit. I've never been a fan of going to the dentist and it usually gives me a feeling of impending doom for a few days beforehand. I had that dilemma this weekend, when I broke a filling while I was at work on Sunday. Add to that that I haven't been to a dentist in two years, I don't have insurance, and my previous doctor is over 100 miles away, and that's a big uh oh. I came online and tried to find someone nearby with availability when I came across Dr. Khalife. I called the office Monday and I was able to get an appointment for today. They did a full set of x-rays and Dr. Khalife evaluated my tooth and quoted me a good price, and made it even better by taking some money off of the top of that (since I don't have insurance). She went to work and it was completely painless. While she was repairing the broken filling, she noticed some decay on the next tooth behind it, and said that since I was already in the chair and numbed in that spot, she took care of it for no charge. I'm blown away. $150 for two fillings and a set of x-rays? That's less than what I paid as a co-pay for one filling when I did have insurance! Dr. Khalife did strongly recommend that I schedule a full cleaning, since it has been awhile since I've been to a dentist. I happily scheduled that for next week, and I'm actually looking forward to going in. My previous fears of going to the dentist are naught, and I can't speak highly enough of DK Dental! read more

I went twice - once for cleaning and once for a filling. Awful experience - before, during and after appointment. I had to wait an hour, after my scheduled appointment time, before being called back to chair. Once called back to chair, I waited an additional 30 minutes before seeing Dr. Khalife. Dr., along with everyone else I encountered during this experience, never introduced themselves (I was a new patient). I didn't receive a single apology for the inconvenience associated with wasting 1.5 hours of my life. An already uncomfortable experience was made even more so, by Dr.'s condescending tone with patients and staff. Once Dr. decided to begin work on my teeth, she stopped, leaving me with an open cavity, while she tended to various other patients, while I continued to wait. Once filling was done, days later, I developed nerve pain in my jaw and decided to go to a different dentist (whom I will be seeing from now on), and he stated that the filling was uneven, causing pressure on new filling, resulting in the pain. Overall, the worst customer service I've encountered in a professional medical setting. I was made to feel more like a burden than a valued patient. It felt more like a Corporate Cattle Ranch with the mentality of "QUANTITY OVER QUALITY" than a local dentist office with the patient's needs and experience kept in mind. I won't be back and wouldn't recommend this place to...anyone. read more

I cannot imagine why the reviews here are so positive. Both times my husband went to see Dr. Dima he waited TWO FULL HOURS!!!! We asked other patients in the waiting room and they had all been there an hour plus and confirmed that wait times like this are completely common. The quality of care seems good, but clearly their scheduling is based on cramming in as many patients as possible. Greed over quality, I suppose. If you don't value your time, I'm sure you'll enjoy DK Dental. read more

I really enjoyed my time here. Dr. was gentle, quick and efficient. I love that everyone is dressed head to tail in pink. They were attentive and let me in at the last minute as a cap had come off of my tooth. The cap has given me no trouble since then and it has been almost a year. I have never liked going to the dentist, but my experience at DK Dental has changed my attitude. I have found the staff to be very professional, efficient, and friendly, and Dr. Khalife is the best dentist I've seen in my 66 years. I understand that she had two years of additional training beyond the required, and it shows. I have had cavities, crowns, a root canal, an extraction, and an implant--all successful, all positive experiences. I won't go anywhere else. read more

Dr. Dima is gentle, friendly, and a stickler for perfection. She made me 3 veneers. She wasn't happy with one of them that came back from an outside lab. She insisted that they make a new one at no charge to me. She has also extracted wisdom teeth on two of my children. One had very long root, another where the tooth was turned 90 degrees. She pulls teeth faster than Firestone can change a tire! No pain! By the way, I was very impressed with her credentials. U of M, NYU Dental school, chief resident, top honors. read more

Simply the best. I had to get 5 teeth extracted (4 wisdom and one molar that cracked from being too crowded). I'm also a nervous patient and when I found out they don't knock you out I got EXTREMELY nervous. Monique (their wonderful receptionist) assured me that Dr Dima had some serious skills and that anesthesia would be more stressful on my body than 5 teeth being pulled. After an in house consultation and a cleaning I met Laura the hygienist/assistant (amazingly sunny disposition and GREAT chair-side manner) and Dr Dima, after reassuring me that my teeth would be no issue she looked in my mouth. Long story short she told me I had nice teeth (nice to hear from a dentist!!)... Fast forward to the day of my surgery, I was given a Xanax RX and they numbed my mouth and went to town. Next thing I know I hear "That's it, you're all set"... My jaw never swelled, and 48 hours later I feel almost no pain (I even stopped taking my pain meds!!!) Thank you DK Dental, I'll tell anyone and everyone this is BAR NONE the BEST dentist there is. read more

Dr. Khalife was rude and not helpful. She scoffed at my questions when I was trying to understand what's wrong with my tooth. And, instead of explaining some kind of measure of how hard I'm brushing, she gave me attitude, and said, "I am not with you, so how do I know what you're doing." read more
