During my previous visits, the assistant who took care of me was not very kind and made me feel self-conscious about my dental issues. It almost felt as if she was looking down on me, which made the experience uncomfortable. However, that all changed during my last appointment. Instead of my usual assistant, I was greeted by a different dental assistant, Mrs. Rose. From the moment she walked in, she radiated warmth, kindness, and genuine care. She was the sweetest person and made me feel comfortable, even though I had come in feeling down about my dental problems. She took the time to explain everything to me and offered reassurance that truly made a difference in my experience. I am so grateful for her kindness and the positive impact she had on my visit. I hope that she is my assistant in the future as she left me feeling really good about myself. Thank you Mrs. Rose!!!

I just saw the bill, they billed an emergency exam (this is done if you go in with a tooth ache) and did a scaling and root planing, wich is a type of perio surgery/procedure. It should have been a new patient exam. Possible a debriment since it had been 5 years and see how the patient responds. I was in the dental managment industry for over 25 years, and this kind of crap is why I left. Not to mention there was no fee/copay disclosure before starting treatment. I will be putting in a formal complaint with Delta Dental. I did call and was told they did everything correct.

Warm friendly smiles says it all.. They let me know what my cost was right up front (with no hidden surprises).. First of all, before I arrived my mood was Somber due to the fact that I just experienced the loss of my mom.. But needless to say, I didn't have to wait for eons to see a dental hygienist, and wasn't sure of it would be.. I can honestly say, Hanan must have been sent from above.. Because she was certainly a blessing.. She was very patient, attentive and walked through the entire maintenance process.. What a joy it was to have Hanan as my dental clinician and I hope she makes Dr. Mark and Dr. Krista's family dental practice her permanent place of employment.. She is truly a wonderful asset. I really wanted to like this office. I went in for a consult to get a root canal and crown done. At…read morefirst they asked me various questions regarding what was most important to me when it came to receiving dental care which I was impressed by. However, that proved to be pointless. I stated that budget was most important to me and would make or break if I were to receive certain care. My root canal procedure had to be done by a specialist at another practice which went well. After my appointment I called Summit Dental back to get a quote for the crown and set up my appointment. The gentleman told me the cost would be over $1,000 which I stated on the phone I will need to use Care Credit for that high of an amount. He said "Oh, yeah, okay." When I came in for my appointment the dental assistant taking care of me had me fill out some paperwork at the beginning of my appointment and had asked what form of payment I would be using in which I said Care Credit and she said "Okay". It wasn't until two hours later after they did most of my dental work and while I was waiting for the crown to be made that she took my card and that's when the front desk told me they don't accept Care Credit anymore. When I told them I said multiple times before my appointment started that was the form of payment I was using and no one told me that, they just said "Oh, well sorry". They refused to work with me on another option like a payment plan so I had to figure out another form of payment right then or else they wouldn't finish me crown installation which at that point was a matter of five minutes to glue it on. It felt very deceptive that they would wait until the procedure was 95% done to tell me they didn't take Care Credit even though I disclosed that was what I was going to use before and the lack of compassion and consideration to work with me on another option at that point is why I will not be returning or recommending Summit Family Dental.

I now continue with the practice for maintenance, with the same impressions I've had all along. I can't recommend the practice highly enough for anyone, but especially for dentist-avoiding patients as you feel at ease and pain-free whatever the procedure-from expert cleaning, cavities, extractions, to bone graft and implants, etc. Also, clear instructions, careful follow-up, and availability for questions or the unexpected. I feel that all the team is exceptional in terms of skill, know-how, and professionalism while having a consistently friendly and caring approach to patients.

"The Gentle Dentist" I had previously had issues with a few dentists that claimed to be the same... they would take care of you, make sure you were as comfortable as possible. Well, that wasn't the case at the other places that I had tried out for being a dentist. To be frank, I have a horrific fear of going to the dentist. Why that is? I have no idea... maybe its the fact that for some reason its painful... you're vulnerable... you're trusting those other people to do what they need to do so that you can continue being able to eat and do it without having any pain in life. From my first meeting with Dr. Antolak, I knew that this was going to be a completely different experience than any other dentist office I had ever been to. He sits down with you, gets to know you, actually listens to everything that you are worried, concerned, or that you have questions about. He will explain everything in terminology that you can understand, and he does everything in his power to make sure you're comfortable. The staff themselves are amazing. They remember you, they know your personal details, but most of all they put your dental health in front of everything else... They don't suggest having work done that isn't necessary. Another key reason why I had found Dr. Antolak is that he has been trained in Sedation Dentistry. Basically it is summed up that if you have fear of going to the dentist, have had bad experiences, or have severe anxiety like myself... they can provide you with medicine that will allow you to 'sleep' through your appointment. You go in, take some medicine, get all relaxed, lay back in the chair.... and then that is it. Everything is done. I could probably sit here for a while and rave about how kind and friendly everyone at the office is, but I would say that if you are in the search for a dentist... Dr. Antolak should be at the top of your list of dentists to check out in the area.

When I called to make an appointment for my husband and I, I told them I didn't want passwords and logins for anything. I was originally told that wouldn't be a problem. 20 minutes later, I start getting calls and texts demanding our emails. Even though, I didn't want to communicate with email I called them back with it. I still received SEVERAL phone calls and text messages about them wanting my email. It was very high pressure! Not a "gentle" experience. It was as invasive as a door to door sales that pushed their way into your front door and wouldn't leave. I called to let the office know that the new patient forms indeed required additional logins and passwords. Instead of offering an alternative solution, the rude staff said "well then this isn't for you." I guess it's the right office for you if you enjoy high pressure, constant harassing contact via EVERY form of communication without stopping and if you collect usernames and passwords. This office is the very definition and experience of why many people don't use their dental insurance.

His associate was sizing the crown, and it became stuck. She could not remove it and said it would be OK. It was not polished and feels rough. She said it was ok to stay in without being glued. I have two friends that are retired dentists, and they agreed the crown will fail without the seal of the glue. So, I have a crowned that is not polished smooth and is not glued in. Destined to fail. I left an internal review but did not receive a reply. I was hoping it would be corrected. Very disappointed.

Playing technician roulette, wondering who I would get and how rough would it be that day. It was a classic 'I hate the dentist' experience. Then, a friend of my mom's recommended Dr. Nowicki to her. She had her first visit and she told me right after that I would definitely want to go there too. So I decided to switch it up. Such a great decision. I can actually say I enjoy visiting the dentist now, because Dr. Nowicki and his team are not only great at what they do, but they are great people as well. From day one, I've felt very welcomed by Dr. Nowicki's office and similarly to Olive Garden, when you're there you feel like family (you really do). Every technician I've had has been very friendly and provided a great cleaning along with great care advice and answers to my questions. Not only that, but the team will take the time to help you out. During a regular cleaning visit, it was discovered I needed a minor filling. Instead of making me schedule something out, Dr. Nowicki went out of his way to squeeze in the minor filling right then and there for me. I've had great conversations and I truly have received helpful care advice that was not previously provided by my old office or taken the time to be given.
