The next people COULD NOT COME UNTIL NEXT WEEK, leaving me and my property fenceless - even worse, DEfenceless. -- But Zeus's will had not come to its fulfilment: for Jarrod next messaged me to say he could erect the fence THE NEXT DAY for $2250. THAT IS LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE OF THE FIRST GUY, and far fewer days, without the BS of a temporary chain link fence! So I hired him. Then , he said it was only for the electrical components of the valves and not the entire valve. As the pvc pipe broke during his repair, he needed to repair it so he rigged it with a coupler and an extender and then said that it's an additional $150 compromised of an additional $75 in labor cost and $75 in parts. If you are doing a project and during the fix, you break the pipe, why would the customer have to pay for your issue. I have a major landscape and hardscape planned and was going to initially use him, but after he sprung this on me, I will go with a different contractor. Penny wise, pound foolish is what i have to say as he missed the big picture and opportunity which I was planning on working on with him. Thank you.
