This is the 2nd experience we had with American Vinyl. My mom wanted to replace her termite- infested wooden side and back gates. She did not want to get pricey gates so she was thinking of getting wood gates again. Paul and his 'movie-star handsome' son, Dylan, came out and gave us an estimate, which we thought surprisingly fair. Upon consultation we opted to have the fence topper affixed to our own side of the block wall, which simplified things; no requirement to ask for approval from our neighbors to have it put on. In about a week Carlos, a pleasant fellow, arrived to do the job and the install took about an hour to be done to our specifications. Our new vinyl topper looks nice and we are pleased with the outcome. If we are still here in 5 years or more we will be able to tell how well it's stood up to the forces of nature, but we were assured it should last just fine. Met Paul & his son, Dylan late last year in regards to updating the existing height (wall topper) of our shared concrete wall with neighbors, along with 2 existing driveway wooden gates. Due to some last minutes changes from our neighbors, the shared wall topper project was postponed, however we continued to move forward with upgrading our existing driveway gates from wood to Vinyl. (The install team had already arrived on site that morning to begin install on our shared wall, however things began to change, and their team was ready to support in whichever way possible, even if it meant postponing the project). Although it was hard to connect at times (due to his busy schedule), Paul would consistently stay in contact pertaining to any updates or changes during the process (via phone/text). However, it's worth mentioning, that in my initial service request someone named Roger responded with a very lengthy sales pitch of sorts and then asked if I wanted a quote. That is why I sent a message. Anyway, he said If I wished to schedule he gave me the number for Paul and that I should contact him. Honestly, I found this a bit irritating .
