I had made a payment via ACH on their website (Since you can't just use a debit like all other…read morebanks or credit cards). Accidentally, duplicated the payment. Not a big deal, but it was $500 payment. So i paid a total of 1000, which killed my bank account. I had 700+ balance so 2 x $500 payments actually showed they owed me 200+ dollars. Now here is the kicker, instead of helping me, it became an ordeal that justifies NEVER doing business with them again for anything. After actually going into a branch, because their customer service was worthless. Banker said they would refund 1 payment and leave the other. 6 days later still no refund and called to find that they require a wait of 10 business days because it's an external account (Not 53 account). On top of that, after ALL THE HEADACHE they still only refunded the negative balance and not the second 500.00 payment. What happened to caring for a customer? I spoke with these incompetent service reps and even said, how do I know you will cut payment for 500. You just have to trust me was the answer, and look what still happened. I am canceling my credit card with them immediately.

Went grocery shopping and my card kept being declined when there was plenty of money and funds in my account. And like I said, I never reached a daily limit of $500. Not at all. The bank closed at 4 pm on a Friday. There is no live chat or customer service through the app either. Also there are no options to receive any notifications of fraud. Not text, not a phone call, not an email. The next thing you know you are unable to access your funds and use your money for an entire weekend. Also anytime you voice a concern or problem with the bank they blame you that it's your fault. During income tax time this bank made a huge mistake and did the wrong amount of money. I went in person to get it resolved and again they blamed me it was my fault. Not only that but I had to wait half a year to get my money back. The app is horrible, horrible customer service, they always blame the customer, no assistance, no help, no fraud alert, no verifications of any kind, can't find or locate routing number through the app, and they always make big mistakes. Worst bank ever. Extremely unprofessional. Take your money and run.

They won't even order me a new card or let me access my account. I brought in my social, my birth certificate, and my marriage certificate. EXTREMELY disappointed in US bank Algonquin. After writing a google review earlier this afternoon their social media team did end up reach out to me. After discussing what occurred today they let me know they are filing a complaint with US Bank corporate and are investing the incident further. As of now, there is still no resolution. I am not upset sitting at the drive through as the 2 men chit chatted with each other for a few minutes as I eagerly wait to be noticed. Then one appeared to be working on something and the other was making small talk to another car next to me for another for 2-3 minutes.. I heard the whole conversation. Since it was my first time at any US Bank the cylinder had to go back and forth to both several times before my transaction was completed since you cant hear what they are saying/asking for through the speaker between the load screeching noise when he turned the speaker on and the muffed voice coming out of the speaker. I watched every car that pulled out of the drive through around me hit the curb with the back tire that separates the drive through lanes. You have to turn your wheel since there is another concrete median in front of you to prevent drivers going into the drive through the wrong way. I too hit the cement curb pulling out on the rear driver side of my car and heard an awful CRUNCH. Seriously I am beyond upset and pissed over this. Your drive through arrangement with the cement in front of you and on each side of you is really ridiculous. It actually damaged my car and I can't even put into words how pissed off I am about this. You need to come up with something better or remove the concrete that is in front of the drive through so people are not forced to turn so abruptly and damage their vehicles. We got there on a Saturday, 11:30, they are open to 2:00. We get told they did not have any openings to meet with a banker, nor did the other nearby branch have any time. They were happy to schedule a time during weekday banker hours when Will was in school. Went across the street to the much smaller regional bank and guess what, they had a banker available. Guess Chase does not want new customers....they can't even staff for new checking accounts when people are free.
