I made it clear I didn't want or feel the need for x-rays, and as a patient, it's my right to refuse them--plain and simple. Informed consent and patient autonomy are basic rights in healthcare, yet this office treated me like I had no say. They wouldn't even perform the cleaning without forcing x-rays on me first. No real explanation beyond "policy," no discussion of alternatives, and zero respect for my decision. This feels like nothing more than a blatant cash grab--pushing unnecessary radiation exposure and extra billing instead of focusing on actual patient care. The staff couldn't (or wouldn't) explain anything properly; they just see patients as dollar signs. Poor communication, zero empathy, and a complete disregard for patient rights. Signature Dental Group (and their "gentle" approach--ironic) is a joke. I will never return, and I strongly advise anyone reading this to go elsewhere. Find a dentist who actually listens to patients and respects their choices instead of strong-arming them into procedures. Save your time and money--avoid this place at all costs.

You can tell they love working there and they treat you well. Dr Patel has 3 dogs that hang out in the office and for me, it just makes it a more relaxed atmosphere. I'm always uptight about dental work and it's a great laid back feel. The bottom line for me is they make you feel like a patient, not a customer.

Because of her incompetence, I had to go through a full retreatment with another dentist -- 6 long visits, each involving high doses of anesthesia -- just to fix the mess she left behind. I even had to take 6 days off work and pay $3,750 out of pocket. To make it worse, the clinic has now removed her name from their website, pretending like she never existed. Dr. Rao is very compassionate and will give me as much Novocaine as needed. I recently had a rather large bridge put in, spanning 6 teeth, but she made sure I was as comfortable as possible during the lengthy procedure. This is important: Dr. Rao is extremely precise in her work. She takes the time to make sure everything is done to perfection. When I leave there, I know the work done is the best. I love Janina, the hygienist. She's wonderful. And the assistants are friendly and knowledgeable. And I want to give some serious appreciation to the office staff. These gals are awesome. They really know thier way around the billing and insurance system and will take the time to patiently answer all of my questions. Love this place so much, my whole family goes here now.

Subsequently I was experiencing some slight pain deep within tooth, noticeable every once in awhile. Due to a the occasional pain, my dentist suggested I visit the Endo and get their expert opinion before he put a brand new crown on a tooth; a tooth that possibly needed another root canal. My dentist gave me a referral to Park Ridge Endodontics I easily made an appointment at PR Endodontics. I arrived at my first appointment with my referral slip . Dr. C. asked me what was going on, examined the tooth and performed some tests, as well as more in-depth X-rays; X-rays my dentist couldn't provide. She did notice an area deep in my canal that needed to be retreated. She gave me several treatment options (pulling the tooth, leaving the tooth alone and doing nothing or root canal therapy). I chose the option that allowed me to keep my tooth intact. I made another appointment so that I could return for the root canal procedure several weeks later. Dr. C. cleaned and retreated my problem area and I was in and out of the office in no time. My tooth has been perfect ever since my visit with her. She was very kind, smart and explained what she was doing during the procedure. My treatment was taken care of in one visit and I was able to return to my general dentist for a new crown several weeks after. All my visits were done between Thanksgiving and Christmas, so I really appreciated that. I was blessed with great dental coverage, so what I paid out-of-pocket was nominal in my opinion. I appreciated the reminder text messages about upcoming appointments. Super clean treatment areas and an inviting reception area. Friendly office staff. They answered my insurance questions with no trouble. Saturday hours! I've since moved away from the NW 'burbs, but I highly recommend PR Endodontics to family and friends still in the area.

I even referred my wife who started coming to this location as well and has had number of procedures done as well. I enjoy Dr. Kamps, and his staff and I thought that we have built a great relationship over the years. That all changed when I missed an appointment in December right before the Holidays. When I rescheduled the appointment and came back, I was charged a $100 fee. I understand the fee is in place to prevent customers from missing their appointments all the time, but this was my 1st time in 3 years, and it was during a hectic holiday season. When I asked for the fee to be waived due to it being the "first offense" and the fact that I always pay on time and even referred my wife as an additional customer - they declined and still made me pay their fee. It's unfortunate that this is how they treat their loyal customers and I'll definitely be doing some research for other dentists around the area.
