Through the decade or so that I've been a patient of his, Dr. Skelba has always been responsive to all my dental needs and concerns (of which I've had many), and displayed superior skills in managing my very complicated, extensive dental work. He is kind, caring, and highly committed to his patients, including referring to only the finest other dental professionals in the area (i.e. oral surgeons, endodontists), and having an excellent assistant (Laura) and wonderful hygienists (Deb) working with him. Recently, I had an incident with an oral surgeon (not recommended by Dr. Skelba) in which a crown already in my mouth was cracked during an implant procedure. I have had terrible experiences with dentists in the past and when we moved to Cary we needed to find a new local dentist. I read her background history on their website and knew right away she was the dentist for me. She has such a calming manner that just sweeps away any apprehension you might have. She fully explains what she is doing every step of the way always putting your comfort uppermost in her mind. Having an inordinate fear of the dentist, I had not had my teeth checked in over eleven years. A broken tooth forced me to seek help. On the recommendation of Dr. Lehman and Natalie of Lehman and Menis, I made an appointment with Dr. Sarah Brewer. I felt embarrassed and ashamed, especially since I've had dental insurance. Dr. Brewer and her entire staff immediately put me at ease and very quickly I began my tooth repair journey. I have been going to Cary Dental Associates for a very long time and have never had less than an excellent experience. Dr. Brewer (my dentist) is absolutely awesome as are all the hygienists (and especially Deb, who is always very patient with me!)
