Charges are high compared to the market place, but they have 8 or 10 fully equipped exam rooms and one dentist, so somebody has to pay for that overhead and Randall Road rent! I won't be returning. DO NOT go to this place. My 84 year old mother was scammed over $2400.00 with dentures SHE can not use. They wouldn't take a credit card either. They told her her insurance (which btw she has dental insurance) they couldn't bill. They ONLY wanted cash. Bug red flag. My poor mother has not been able to eat solid foods since July of this year. On top of that the Dr Igor removed 5 teeth at one time ( on an elderly woman) which is un heard of. I would never ever go here. Please beware! . Shame on them. read more

Not recommended this dentist , I went there for extraction, tooth was extracted, after extraction I back with dry socket, so much pain , left the office with hole in my mouth I can put finger inside . I go to different dentist who say I supposed to got stitches , to avoid infection. Front desk rude , behave like they got more knowledge than dentist. read more

My appointment started on time and I received a great teeth cleaning for me and my 7 year old son (who is very comfortable in their care).

The office staff was very friendly. The office was clean and pleasant. The visit however was disappointing. As a new patient the doctor spent under five minutes consulting with me. During that time she told me that my wisdom teeth had cavities. She said the cavities were difficult to fill and I should consider getting them extracted. Then she left. I had no time to discuss questions or concerns regarding oral surgery. I reached out the next day for more information and it took over 48 hours and a follow up from me to receive a response via text message. I then sought out a second opinion from my former dentist (I left due to distance- we just moved). What he saw was not in line with Dr. Audrey's analysis and he took care of my teeth. Algonquin Smiles has yet to send my xrays to me after my request to email them. Our experience was a disappointing one at best. Not at all in line with other reviews. I did not feel that Dr. Audrey was really interested in discussing my health with me at the time of my visit and they are not timely in responding to questions or requests. read more

Dr Audrey previously performed a root canal and during the procedure hit a nerve. I have been living with the constant but mild headaches ever since. In my initial appointment with a neurologist he stated that the pain will likely go away after six months. It has been nearly two years, I had another appointment with the neurologist and he has scheduled an MRI. In the past one of her staff stated that she really enjoys root canals, that comment should have been taken as a warning. Also have an issue with their billing dept. There have been issues with them not properly submitting bills to my insurance company. Most recent issue is how my final bill increased by over $500. without any additional work being done. I continued to request a meeting to go over my bill with John, believe he is Audrey's boyfriend or husband. Many times he would call me from his home and had my bills and private information with him outside if the office. He stated that he was helping out with billing due to problems they have had but I received no resolution to my problem of being overcharge. read more

Went in for broken tooth. Dentist looked inside my mouth for maybe a minute and told me I need to go a specialist to get the teeth extracted, which is fine. What is not fine is that they billed my insurance $110 for that. No x-rays, no service provided other than writing up a referral to go see someone else. I have a yearly limit and do not appreciate them billing 10% of that just for taking a quick looksie. Places like this is why we have to pay so much in insurance- PRICE GOUGING. read more

I have a root canal on my front tooth so they throughly explained my pros and cons before the procedure and I decided to go ahead with it anyways. I struggled to give this 3 stars, to be honest. The actual *staff* that does the work? Top-notch. Dr. Audry is quick, soothing and really does walk around with a smile on her face..:) My daughter is a big tooth "chicken" and loves going to the ladies here. I had quite a bit of work done, which took 3 visits and I always left feeling like I had been treated well. But yikes, for the same procedure at another dentist (we had moved) in the next county, they are WAY higher. Not sure why, perhaps they just need more to run the office, which is pretty comfortable and seemingly, state-of-the-art. We had to call our dental insurance to clear up some of the bills and we were advised that this office really is billing for the higher end of the spectrum, for the same exact services (we compared the codes, one by one). It's been hard paying off the high bills, especially since just two years prior, we paid next to nothing out of pocket. Office staff is friendly, billing staff soft-spoken, but definitely carry sharp sticks..;) We are on the fence if we'll be back. Go, but be prepared! read more

This office is one of the best dental practices I have had the pleasure of going to. They are always so polite and courteous, but also knowledgeable and great with explaining everything to you. I don't have alot of dental issues, but when there is a problem they're quick to advise and fix it. I absolutely love Carey the hygienist, her chairside manner is superb and she really knows her stuff. They are a little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. It's worth it! read more

After 21 years with my dentist, he retired. I thought I would never find anyone to replace him....but I did!! All Smiles By Dr. Audrey. Dr. Audrey and her staff, are professional, highly competent, and sincerely care about their patients. They make you feel completely comfortable and confident in what is going on. Dr. Audrey was great at reading my comfort level and she took the time to explain the procedure, made sure that if I had any questions they were answered and was able to put me at ease. The office is extremely clean, modern with all up to date technology, very warm and inviting. I even had a TV in my room so I could sit back, relax and enjoy the show. After my appointments, Dr. Audrey took the time to contact me the next day to check and see how I was doing and to answer any additional questions I may have. Dr. Audrey and staff are super nice and made me feel very comfortable in their office. I've been super nervous about going back to the dentist because my teeth have been really bad. The hygienist made me feel comfortable and if she noticed I was in any pain while she was doing the initial cleaning and exam she moved to the next area or changed the tool she was using. Damage This dentist performed a bottched root canal. #DrSim work was so damaging, it took a specialized dentist 3 visits to correct her work. Her response was about the same as other patients have stated regarding their own damaging procedures.....i.e., trying to cover up or excuse the bad work. As if she were a small child, #AudreySim stated root canals are complicated. When a doctor tells anyone that key word, thats a headway for lack of skill, knowledge and/or ability. A competent doctor never goes into a procedure "perplexed". Her boyfriend or husband John (her ex husband owns Compassionate Dental down the street) had access to personal information and sent threats via email after I sought resolution with her office. Many many years ago Dr Audrey told me I had nine cavities and even showed them to me. I had no reason to believe I had that many cavities and I was completely shocked. We were looking for a new dentist, and thought we found a great practice since the hygienist we saw was fabulous. Unfortunately, the billing department is a nightmare! Their services are priced much higher than other practices, and services that should be covered 100% by insurance still end up with a remaining balance. ??? It also seems that they are always "recommending" services that won't be covered by insurance -- it felt very sales-like. Last, the main reason I'm only giving one star... We were threatened to be sent to collections over a $50 "appointment cancellation fee". Very disappointing as we had cancelled the appointment with proper notice, but apparently they didn't have a "record" of the cancellation. They wouldn't re-book an appointment without us paying the fee. We paid the $50, but we definitely will not be rescheduling now! Seems very short-sighted on their end and was extremely frustrating for us!! read more

I went to all smiles when I first moved to Algonquin & I saw dr audrey. It was one of the WORST EXPERIENCES of my life! I should have seen the red flags when I was told that they wanted to refill all my old fillings. But I chose to trust them & I got burned. It cost me a tooth. The story is too long to report here, but in the end, I experienced A LOT of pain and spent A LOT of money only to have to go to another dentist who had to pull my tooth that dr Audrey cracked!! I have never been treated so poorly in any dentist office. I was fortunate to have good insurance & she made sure to use every penny for the year. Billing department was a nightmare to deal with. Felt like they intentionally over charged me and held my refund. First they put my 22 year old daughters down payment under my name, yet I have never been here. There was a balance due, after insurance paid and they used the down payment for balance due. Which is fine. However when we went to pay the balance prior to surgery $2200.oo, they were not able to use my balance for her charge. Odd for they did it once already. I was then told they only cut checks at month end, and I will have to wait 4 weeks to get my balance. Then when I got the eob , I noticed I had over paid by $1,000. Odd they don't know reasonable and customary charges for each procedure! They got the payment from insurance company around the 11th of February , yet come month end when I was expecting my $1000 refund and I didn't get it, I called and they said, "we only cut checks once a month you will have to wait to month end. ". So now I will not get my refund until April. Odd for I bet the insurance payment was posted right away. So they held my $1,000 for 9 weeks. So it appears that they knew what they were doing both times. I said that's really unreasonable and all she could say was , "sorry." read more

Great dentist, but horrible billing department. They pushed me to have huge amounts of work done by the end of the year and claimed that it was covered by my insurance. Well guess what----nothing was!!!!! Now I'm stuck with a huge dental bill. There was no apology on their part. They just offered to schedule a payment plan. My advice is to not have ANY work performed by Dr. Audrey unless you call your insurance company first becasue the staff will lie and lead you to believe it is. After $10,000 payment (upfront), after 6 months received a denture that was poorly made, a partial that wouldn't fit, gum disease that I didn't have when I started seeing her, and an overall feeling of an uncaring dentist. ER: This is a difficult review. The one star is due to a very unfortunate recent experience. I've been visiting Dr. Audrey for 10 years. Returned on a Friday from a business trip sick: Fever, cough, sore throat, et. Bottom line, in no condition to sit in a chair for 3.5 hours for my next day Saturday appt, nor did I think they would appreciate me being so sick in their office. This was the first time I've cancelled within 48 hours. The response I received in cancelling/rescheduling was just appalling! Made me feel guilty about cancelling, told me I'd be charged $50, but then it got worse. They told me they would provide warm blankets, beverages and breaks throughout my appointment and strongly encouraged me to rethink cancelling. Are You Kidding me?? When I finally had to insist that I needed to reschedule, I was told that since I was canceling a Saturday appt, they would be unable to allow me to schedule another Saturday appointment.
