We also had the mixed starter with grape leaves and a variety of dipping sauces (hummus, taziki or whatever the Turks call it, and a weird fish egg thing). I've never liked anything wrapped in grape leaves--until now! Do yourself a favor and stick to one of the yoghurt-based dishes. My wife had a non-yoghurt dish, what I would call some kind of Turkish fajita, served on a hot metal plate; it was tragically forgettable. The baklava was the perfect way to end the meal. Go for the added ice cream, you've earned it! It's a small serving, just the right amount of sweetness to end the night off without pushing you over the edge into diabetic coma, as seems to be the aim of many baklava varieties. On a warm summer night, though, with an open kitchen, this place is roasting inside. Try to score a table out front, or near a window. Maybe this is makes it more authentic? I don't know, but wear deodorant--you're going get a good sweat going.
