So I am not from the area and never even went to the area, so I am forever grateful for the recommendation for Ali Bleu. A recommendation, oddly enough, that came from the first florist I called who was unable to make what I was asking for. My aunt passed away in Texas while I was overseas, so unfortunately I was not able to make the services. Ali Bleu created the perfect arrangement for me which made me feel like I was certainly there in spirit. The arrangement was made of red roses with an angel statue in the middle. Ali Bleu was able to accommodate my request of adding a ribbon which said "beloved aunt." Although funeral flowers are so ridiculously expensive, I was happy spending the money here as I know I got a beautiful product in return. My family all were very touched and loved the arrangement. I called and ordered flowers for a friend and specifically asked for sand dollar eucalyptus which I was told they had. This is what I got. Why didn't someone call me and tell me they didn't have what I wanted? I felt sad when the person I sent these to sent me this picture; it's not attractive. Communication was lost and this might be the worst arrangement I've ever paid for. Five stars...because she was able to make a near miracle happen. My son wanted a corsage for the girl he was escorting to homecoming. We found out that there were three other girls going with them, so we asked for four corsages, with about 90-minutes before she closed. We called and gave the dress colors, asking something to go with them, then just hoped. Never having done business with this florist, we didn't know what to expect. When i got there she was still working on them. When she came to the front with them, they were all four very pretty and well designed. They smelled a little like glue, but smelled like flowers when we got them home. Susie and team will get our business again, especially if she locates closer to Dripping Springs. read more

I sent flowers to my daughter-in-law she loved them. The flowers were all shades of pink and lasted about 12 days. I ordered them late afternoon and they were delivered the following morning. I think most years she has ordered from Ali Bleu and has been super-impressed with them: they call before delivery, and even called her to let her know the flowers had been delivered to us! This year our calas died after only two short days. I called to let them know and they quickly offered a replacement arrangement and had it delivered with the same quality customer service they'd provided with the first arrangement. In a time when "Big Box" stores, and grocery stores are kicking out the little local shops it speaks a lot about this business when you know that the current owners have been successfully making life celebrations, and memories, for 17+ years! AND this store was already in business for many years before! Flowers are appropriate from birth, to occasions through life, and the best way to tribute and soothe in death. Most people look for price above all else...so they buy their flowers, even the most important occasions, as they are also buying tires, milk, deli items, and toilet paper. (BTW, this place does not sell any of that!) Hear me: You do not have to have quality OR price. At this florist it's both! AND add in 5 star customer service . Their selection of flowers available, coupled with their relationship with growers and wholesalers coast to coast give you, the customer, the best available. Their designers are intentional, and NO I am NOT one of them. But when I need flowers in the Austin area, or have to wire them to another city, I go to one spot...this one! Local love here! I am a local and enjoy shopping in my neighborhood. Thank you for Ali Bleu florist. My dear friend lost her mother and in an effort to help her during her time of grief I stopped by Ali Bleu to get some ideas of price, selection and availability of delivery for her mother's spray and a corsage for each pallbearer. My friend went by the next day and they were so kind and patient. They allowed her to pick the flowers from their walk in cooler and included the each corsage. The spray was even more beautiful than any of them in the catalog because of the personal care they took to fill her order. I went here for Valentine's day, because I noticed the local grocery store lacked creativity and freshness with their arrangements. I decided to get the dozen roses, which happened to be their last -- so I got lucky. I asked for a different vase than the selection they had up front, and the attendant kindly showed me a new one.
