We are amazed in such a short time all the items that were accomplished by Tara and her team at Houston HOA Management. If you have an issue and email or call Tara she will respond to you within the hour. I DON'T know of another company with that quick of a response time. The problem with that is the HOA doesnt want to answer the phone or emails except for when it's convenient for them or they can fine you in order to make more money. I have called over 20 or more times and they never answer or return phone my calls. I've left comments on their webpage and they still won't get back with me. A full year has gone by since we moved into this community and I can't wait to leave. Every week it's the same issues. They refuse to do anything about all the dog poop in the common areas. There has been many complaints to this HOUSTON HOA MANAGEMENT group. Just simply add a metal pole with a trash can on it and some poop bags. It's so simple but instead they decided to install the cheapest lamp posts that run on solar power and don't even light up 4feet in diameter around them when they work. They have the cheapest and worst mowing crew. So for the people who do pickup their dogs poop, you have to try and find it through the brush cuz nobody will mow and fish poop out of 9-10" of weeds that are always wet in the morning from dew. It's almost impossible but I still do it. I'm sure they are paying the landscaping crew to mow cuz they show up about once every 5-6 weeks but they mow at the fastest speed possible when they do mow so it leaves the grass and weeds maybe half way cut down. The cops have been called many times on my neighbors about 4-5 doors down probably for domestic abuse but I'm not sure. Just see the couple of different couples constantly fighting outside with one another. Very poorly managed community at best. The water has been shut off no less than a dozen times and maybe more for entire days, since we moved into this community June 2025. Of course they keep hiring the same plumbing company to come fix their previously fixed issues. It's PATHETIC. Go look at how many times I've told yall how PATHETIC this HOA is and you will see all the times yall have ignored me. My dog and myself got ate up by ants a few weeks ago because you can't even see the ant piles everywhere because the supposed common areas are so thick with brush my dog gets lost in the weeds. Oh did I say that already well maybe just do a simple drive through if you can get out of the office and off your social media.

Cinco Ranch is extremely well-to-do but not nearly as mono-ethnic as some of the areas of Houston Suburbia such as the Woodlands. It's nice out here and there are few good food options along with a lot of brand new Asian dessert and drink places within a few miles drive, so it's a pretty good place to live except for the massive distance from Houston proper.

Worst management company I have ever dealt with…read more There is a tree next to my townhome that the HOA is responsible for maintaining. It was supposed to be a dwarf magnolia, but it has clearly turned out to be a full-size magnolia growing directly beside my home. I submitted a request to have it removed on 3/22/2026, and as of today, I have received zero meaningful communication or resolution. I have now called THREE separate times: * 4/30/2026 - I was told, "I'm so sorry, I'll contact the landscape company right away." * 5/13/2026 - After nothing happened for two more weeks, I called again and was told it needed to go before the board, which was meeting the next day, and that I would receive a callback. * 5/22/2026 - Still no response, no update, and now "Jackie" is apparently unavailable. Meanwhile, I pay $240 per month in HOA dues for what amounts to mowing a tiny front yard every couple of weeks and trimming bushes with a weed eater, yet they cannot even address a legitimate issue involving a tree that could eventually damage the exterior of my home. Since the exterior of the building is supposedly their responsibility, you would think they would want to handle the issue before it becomes a far more expensive repair later. Extremely disappointing communication and management.

Heritage Grand at Cinco Ranch is the worst place to live…read more The HOA is supposed to take care of the sprinkler system and lawn care from the dues we pay but nothing is done unless we do it ourselves. Also the HOA is responsible for the home security system but no one uses it because they will not provide us with our proper code. Also as far as security goes, the front gate has been broken for months. And the due go up $50 every year. If we want to use the gym, we have to pay for a gym card. If we want to eat in the diner, we have to pay huge fees and the food is horrible. If we want to join in the garage sale we have to pay extra. Everything costs Extra. The staff is discourteous and rude and gives false information. They are supposed to paint every nine years. This does not happen. Nothing gets done as promised.

I have lived at my current…read moreaddress almost 12 years and before the property owner turned all of his properties over to Ashoka Lion I really enjoyed where I live. This past summer while my brother and I were both at home recovering from kidney transplant surgeries the downstairs air conditioner compressor went out . I had to make 3 request for repair and all they did was to sent out someone with no experience to put in freon and to shoot the water hose on the unit. Still not fixed. Then a couple of months ago while sitting in the family room a squirrel digs a whole in the foyer and falls out and begins running through the house. I again called for service and they sent the same man they sent to repair the air conditioner 3 days later while the squirrel pooped all over my downstairs area. When he got there he didn't try to get rid of the one in the house or the ones still living in the attic area because they continue to come in thru the worn out roof . He sealed the hole in the foyer and the one under the roof line and then when I complained. He put traps on the attic and never returned like he promised he would. Fast forward to the last couple of weeks where I'm sure the freeze killed the squirrels up there and then I was forced to live with large horse flies in the master bath and my closet. When I called again they sent they guy back on yesterday 2/5 and he left the house with a large trash bag of dead squirrels and told my brother they would need to fumigation the attic. I have never dealt with such stupidity and then when I requested a manager to speak to I was told by the person on the phone that they could not give out the direct line. Pretty sure that is because as bad as they are with service they they are afraid of all the calls they'll receive.

They stock a wide variety of herbs and ointments as well as some food and drink. It also happens to be one of the only stores in the Houston area that sells Nippon Kodo incense from Japan, and at a lower price than the manufacturer's online store. Lastly, the people who run this business are very nice people and actually gave me a small discount for buying two boxes of incense instead of one. I would recommend this shop anyone who loves great incense, needs to relieve an achy back, or would just like to try something new and explore the area. And yes, I'll definitely be back when I need some more incense. This place is great and should not be passed up.
