Worst management company I have ever dealt with. There is a tree next to my townhome that the HOA is responsible for maintaining. It was supposed to be a dwarf magnolia, but it has clearly turned out to be a full-size magnolia growing directly beside my home. I submitted a request to have it removed on 3/22/2026, and as of today, I have received zero meaningful communication or resolution. I have now called THREE separate times: * 4/30/2026 - I was told, "I'm so sorry, I'll contact the landscape company right away." * 5/13/2026 - After nothing happened for two more weeks, I called again and was told it needed to go before the board, which was meeting the next day, and that I would receive a callback. * 5/22/2026 - Still no response, no update, and now "Jackie" is apparently unavailable. Meanwhile, I pay $240 per month in HOA dues for what amounts to mowing a tiny front yard every couple of weeks and trimming bushes with a weed eater, yet they cannot even address a legitimate issue involving a tree that could eventually damage the exterior of my home. Since the exterior of the building is supposedly their responsibility, you would think they would want to handle the issue before it becomes a far more expensive repair later. Being a real estate investor, I have dealt with many property management companies, but Montage is the worst. My husband and I have been victims of selective targeting since October of last year. The property manager S.J. told us she would not take phone calls from us. Their information is incorrect and they violate Texas state laws regarding real property ownership, and even contradict their own CCR's. I could go on and on, but there would not be enough space to list all of their inconsistencies, harassment, and lack of knowledge. read more

As a first time home owner in our community I was super excited until I had to deal with Montage. I didn't have expectations being a new owner but I do know what good customer service is. Montage is definitely not that. I moved in right at the beginning of summer. I requested a key for the community pool. I didn't receive a key until summer was over. On top of that the on-site manager (who was only there 1 day out of the week) was so lazy she couldn't even place the key on the front door or front step. She just threw the key in my yard with the expectation I was supposed to find it in the grass. After months of emailing her she finally said she never entered my property but just walked by and threw the key in the yard. Absolutely horrible! This company should not be in business. read more

This is just a small indication of how unethical this company truly is.* Businesses and homeowners - please beware of this community management company. Our recreation association has been using them for property management and for years they have been the most incompetent and unprofessional management company I have ever experienced. They repeatedly fail to send communications regarding the property and board meetings to homeowners, and regularly cancel scheduled board meetings (they are supposed to take place on the second Thursday of every month) without notice to homeowners. When they do communicate, the communications are unprofessional and poorly written. When a homeowner questions charges that the association has incurred, Montage will lie about where the money is being spent and refuses to provide invoices when requested. (The most recent example that I personally experienced took place in April of 2023 when I requested an explanation of thousands of dollars in pool cleaning services that our association was paying for months during a time when the pool was being renovated and was inoperable (concrete busted up, no water in pool, etc.) Maria, our association's manager, lied to me stating those charges were for cleaning the restroom. When I pushed further and asked for a copy of the invoices, my request was ignored And I never received the invoices. Our association discovered later that we were in fact being charged for pool cleanings. Because Montage has refused to provide copies of the invoices, homeowners are still not sure who pocketed that money.) Our association has less than 90 days left in our contract with them as our management company and that final day can't come soon enough. Please do yourself and your homeowners/residents a favor by using a different management company. read more

As a previous HOA manager, I am deeply disappointed with this property management. Typically our community pool is closed on Monday for cleaning purposes however this Memorial Day falls on a Monday and our key fobs are not allowing access. We had the same issue last year on Fourth of July. Per management, their security service is supposed to alter the hours on the devices so that homeowners can gain access for the holiday. Their offices are closed and the after hour service doesn't ha a clue how to help. The website has no current pool schedule either. I do not enjoy paying for amenities that are poorly maintained and that I can't even gain access to. read more

Please do not support Montage. They are extremely unprofessional. I called and emailed Angela who is a property manager. I had an issue with my water pressure. I sent the email on a Wed By Friday I still had not heard back. I called her again.. she then proceeds to tell me she didnt get back with me because she wanted to see if the problem would fix itself. Really? Oh and she was extremely rude in saying this. I then tell her il get a plumber out. She then hangs up in my face. Do yourself a favor. Threatened to have my car towed off of a property that my family owns and has owned for 10+ years because my stickers are out. Mind you I lost my job due to covid and have tested positive 3 times so finding a job has been a bit of a challenge...but you know...outdated inspection stickers hurt the outside appearance of the house.
