    Potato bread and pepe bread
    Britney M.

Hmmmm got me scratching my head. *scratch scratch* This is a pizza place, but what they serve really isn't pizza. I ordered the Bianca pizza (listed under pizzas) and it was literally just bread. There was no sauce and no cheese. Just bread with slight flavor. Not pizza at all........ The potatoes and rosemary "pizza" was just sliced potatoes thrown on bread with no sauce and no cheese. What the heck is this? Not pizza at all. This is a bread place. Might as well call it "Alice bread sticks" with potatoes, or whatever topping. The menu is unclear as these things are listed under "pizza." That's very misleading for tourists who are expecting pizza (sauce and cheese).

I came here over 10 years ago when I was last in Rome and eating it again brought back the best pizza memories. It's such an experience, you can pick from so many different options so you can try several since they cut the slice. It's located near the Vatican. Best pizza we had in Rome. It's a place that doesn't have much seating though. You can sit on the steps to eat real quick. There's 2 stand up tables inside.

The service here was incredible, especially for Italy! The woman offered to make the type of suppli we wanted FRESH because they only had one left and both my friend and I wanted to try it. After maybe five minutes, we had the BEST SUPPLI I had in Rome! We had the cacia Pepe, and it had a ball of cheese oozing from the middle as well. The outside was thick and crispy and the inside was creamy, sharp with Roman cheese, and thick with the risotto. My friend and I had both tried suppli elsewhere and had not been overly impressed, this changed our minds drastically about the local snack! You need to check this place out!

Alice Pizzeria came to us as a recommendation. And it's easy to see why. We ordered a variety of flavors and each one better than the last. If we had to pick a least favorite it was the cacio e pepe, but that wasn't because it was bad. The pizza was fresh and flavorful. The restaurant is small and just gives space to order and then high tail it out, but I'd say that adds to the charm. Scores of people sat around on the stoop and sidewalk outside enjoying their meals. It was a great experience. Grazie, Alice!

Ugh. Best pizza I had in Rome. Better than antico forno roscioli which also had high reviews. But this was so crispy and delicious crust. They had a lot of options in the one in Trastevere. The other ones didn't have the same flavors. We wanted to come back but ran out of time. The marinara pizza (literally just marinara sauce on the pizza) was so good. Says something about how good the crust is when there's almost nothing on it and it was still the best thing we ate.

Fantastic and delicious pizza with many varieties and toppings. A list in Rome and next to it is the best pasta.

In most pizza places in Rome expect to choose different types of pizza from behind a glass counter at different sizes to your liking, then pay by weight. I like that more than pizza by the slice lol I went after 1pm over by the Vatican, next door to Pastasciutta and there wasn't much to choose from anymore. I'm sure I got there after the lunch rush. I opted for a red pizza with basil and a white one with some type of sliced ham & potato. The latter was the better, super tasty and the crust was thin and perfect. The tomato based one I could've done without. It had anchovies which I couldn't tell until I bit into it lol it's not their fault of course, but I ordered it lol anyway I'll try it again whenever I'm in Rome.

Tasty pizza made fast and served even faster. This is a great spot to grab a slice or two, whether you're in a hurry or you're willing to sit in the doorway on some square mats. Yes I'm serious and it's more comfortable than it sounds. I honestly have no idea what I ordered - the pizzas did have names but my knowledge of Italian is very little and everything was happening so fast that I just pointed to what looked good and paid for it. I don't regret it because everything tasted good! They also have an interesting method of charging: by the weight of the pizza. You pick your flavors and they throw it on a digital scale and voila: there's your fee. If you're looking for a quick slice or two of pizza, I would definitely at least give this place a shot.

Busy shop but quick service. We stopped by after visited Vatican City, it's about 2 blocks away from the entrance. First you pick your pizza then they put on a digital scale to weight them and that's your cost. Pretty unique concept, we don't have it in the US yet. I love the crispy crust and flavorful toppings. I honestly can't remember the name of each pizza but I know they are all good. Price is reasonable for the portion and they are all in square shape. After we got our pizza, we just sat down on one of the steps and enjoyed our hot and yummy pizza. Totally recommend this place to everyone.

This is the unpleasant woman who was rude to me because I lacked specifity about what kind of cheese pizza I wanted.

Tasty and seemingly not extremely touristy/expensive. Classic Italian pizzeria close in proximity to the Colosseum.

The pizza was very good. Had a good variety. They charge by the weight of the slice, not per slice.

Therefore, we ordered one of everything Hey, why not? Right?! It was definitely fresh pasta because you see them making the pasta from flour to all the different types of pasta shapes. And fresh pasta tends to stick together when cooled down. Here is the ranking of how I liked their pastas. They were all good but this is based on my flavor preference and how good everything was after bringing it back to the Airbnb. 6. Strozzapreti al pesto 5. Spaghetti Cacio e pepe 4. Fusilli al pomodoro 3. Strozzapreti al tartufo 2. Pappardelle al Ragu 1. Spaghetti alla Carbonara I think my ranking might have changed drastically if I ate everything on the spot. As you can tell by now, my recommendation is to eat it there as soon as you get your order. ¨ It was really good for being "take-out" style. Def worth stopping by for guaranteed yummy fresh pasta. So, if you have stomach space and are contemplating, yes, go! Worth the virality and hype. But I wouldn't suggest eating here every day. You're in Rome, explore! Try to find another yummy spot! ¨ Things to know: -Like most of Rome, they accept cards. -When you order, if are you getting it go, let them know so that they can pack it for you. -After you order, they give you a pager so you know when your order is ready. -If you order to go (I would suggest not if you can eat it there fresh) and if you have a bit of a walk, I would not suggest holding the bag by the handle cuz the steam of the food made our bags rip slowly. I'm glad we realized this because we would've been sad if all our pasta landed on the floor. And the covers do get warped by the steam, so everything shifts around. So, don't be like me - swinging the bag happily. Be more mindful. -Wait time can vary. Mine wasn't too bad cuz there weren't a lot of people. -The only problem with eating there is that there is no seating. So, I wouldn't have been able to get every single pasta dish to try. Pros and cons of eating it fresh and hot vs eating comfortably in AC.
