The manager Bo is super friendly, caring, and just an awesome human! My favorite coaches are Brandon, Karah, and Mike. They each are super friendly, encouraging, and caring. Throughout my experience, I have lost weight, gain muscles, gotten faster, lifted heavier, and felt great in my body! The environment is welcoming, the music while working out gets me pumped, and I love that each workout is different and I always have a coach helping me out along the way. I am a regular at OTF University and OTF Butler Plaza. Yesterday (08/06/2020) I ventured over to the Millhopper location for the very first time to use the gym and visit my favorite Coach Cosmo. I had never been to this gym before and sadly had to use a GPS to find it as I never ever go over to that side of town. Once I arrived I parked my car and got in line to workout. The line was pretty long and it was full of new faces I have never seen before. People were very friendly and talkative while waiting in line. Once inside the gym it is a big L Shape with treadmills and rowers on one side of the room and the weight room on the other. It was super nice. I will say this gym is a little smaller than Butler and University, but it is the oldest location in Gainesville and they were able to see the small size and make the other gyms bigger because of this. I highly recommend this gym if you're looking for a great workout.

I felt right at home in my first class and the owner/manager made a point to introduce themselves and talk a little bit about their studio. Target Demographic for this gym seems to vary but ages range from 25-65 with all varying fitness levels and specialty in taking care of previous injuries. I took my first class with taylor Allen and she really made me feel taken care of while still feeling like a "regular" at their studio. Class sizes are small (i think maybe 6 people were in my 11:15 am Friday class) but there's no need to be intimidated as the trainers and members are super friendly/non-judge mental. They have been systematically eliminating the Body Pump class, which is very popular resulting in the remaining classes being very crowded to the point that they sometimes run out of equipment. Now, the fans in the group fitness room (where Body Pump is held) have not been working for about a month. The room is crammed with bodies and though there is air conditioning, it is not enough. We have complained and are told they are working on it. Again, it has been a month. We are convinced that this would not happen at the other two centers. Unfortunately we are a captured audience with really no other options.

The spray bottles seemed watered down, and I never really felt comfortable touching the machines. Even the water from the fountains had a strange, old taste. The gym was almost always packed, which made my social anxiety worse. The layout was also kind of awkward and didn't flow well, making it harder to find a space to work out comfortably. I eventually decided to cancel my membership, did it in person to avoid any surprise charges, based on reviews I read. I couldn't justify paying for a place that made me feel more stressed than motivated. Since canceling, I've joined a local HIIT program and started hiking on weekends, and honestly? It's been such a better fit for me physically and mentally. Crunch might work for some, but it just wasn't the right vibe for me.
