Honestly, this was the best trip ever! Granted we gave Michelle a healthy budget, but honesty, my son will only graduate once from high school, and our pride is abundant. Michelle Keith planned tours, hotels and transportation... which made vacation just that, a vacation, a break from planning our trip myself. We had awesome guides that spoke English and taught us how to navigate the mean subways of Tokyo and Osaka. We had fun sumo show and onsen hotel, with a private onsen (hot tub) taking into account the tattoos which are prohibited by the Japanese ppl- we should have stayed in longer. We had a pirate ship tour of lake Ashi, and gondola ride to the sulfur mountain (smell wasn't nice) view was amazing! We saw shibuya crossing and Harajuku- went to Ginza and Shinjuku- ate inexpensive Wagyu which was so good!!! Sushi, ramen, tonkatsu. Sardines (my son did this- the eyes creeped me out). Hotels are Japanese size (small) so if you have three grown ppl, consider two rooms. As much as I love my son and husband, we needed space from each other. We had the best time and will definitely be booking our next excursion to Europe with Michelle. Michelle suggested other excursions and places, and also days of rest. We averaged about 7 miles of walking a day, so make sure to bring your comfy shoes and hit the road to beauty, and clean everything (subs, streets, and hotels). Kampai!! (Cheers!)

If I could change the rating it would be a 10 Star rating!…read moreWe contacted Susannah Tomlin regarding taking a cruise on Viking from Rome for 7 days. After the cruise, We wanted to rent a car and drive through Italy, see Pompeii, drive to Barcelona, Milan, Florence and Tuscany and Valencia Spain. In addition we asked her to book a gondola ride in Venice and we wanted cooking classes in various Italian locales and in Spain. We learned how to make Paella in Valencia at a country retreat outside of Valencia. The hotel accommodations were outstanding, each place we visited had breakfasts included in our hotel stays. In Madrid there was a change in our travel dates that the hotel did receive. We contacted Susannah by message on the mobile application Viator. She took care of the change in hotels immediately and sent us confirmation on the hotel reservation. She found a gorgeous villa in Tuscany where we had outstanding sunsets from our second story spacious living room, bedroom with a huge bathroom suite!! We went on a truffle hunt, learned how to make stuffed raviolis and we were treated like royalty at every hotel we stayed. Susannah did an Exceptional job coordinating our trip, from airfare from Los Angeles to Rome, to Milan to Barcelona. The pickup of our rental car at both locations was seamless! Driving to each of the hotels in Europe and trying to find parking for our car was not necessary. She picked hotels that had parking garages that the porters took the car and parked it until we left. We highly recommend Susannah Tomlin, she is taking care of our next trip in May 2025! She is an outstanding travel agent!!

My mom wanted to travel through South America, down to Argentina and then hop on a cruise to Antarctica. I've always seen deals for cruises to Antarctica from Argentina. So I had her call Albert for some advice on this type of journey. To my surprise, my mom had a terrible phone conversation with Albert. Not only was Albert rude to her, he criticized her for supposedly confusing him with her questions. The most shocking part was when he questioned why she would travel to Antarctica and that it was super hot! Um, really? I have no idea why he would think Antarctica is hot. Last I checked, it's -24 degrees Fahrenheit down there! And this was just the tip of the iceberg (pun intended). He then proceeded to tell her that he was really busy and that she was wasting his time. Told her to just go to his office instead. I understand if she's not a customer and just a random caller with questions. However, she was a referral from a customer. Even if she was just a random caller, why be rude to the person? The whole "Antarctica is super hot" comment was just perplexing. A travel agent made this comment...a travel agent. And to make her feel stupid for asking about cruises to Antarctica was unnecessary considering these cruises DO exist. The poor treatment of a referral from a regular customer was very disappointing. Needless to say, I'll be searching for a new travel agency.

David was amazing! He is very prompt, professional, and helpful, which helped to put our minds at ease taking this tour (which was a first for both us). Our entire trip occurred just as planned. We participated in all of the events/activities planned at the locations on the itinerary listed on their website. If there are any changes, they will email you an updated itinerary or the tour guides will update the tour group the day before or day of. The hotels included in their tour packages were just as described. They were clean, well kept, and cozy. The hotel staff were amazing as well. As stated on their website, some meals are included. A buffet breakfast is usually included with each hotel stay. Lunch and dinner may or may not be included, just double check your itinerary. Our tour guides for both Japan and South Korea were amazing! Han is hilarious, personable, and very knowledgable of both Korean history/culture and American culture/history. Oba-san is very respectful and also very knowledgable of Japanese culture/history. Both were very unique, interesting tour guides that kept our tour group together and entertained. I wouldn't mind booking another trip with Charming Travel Destinations!

I called him many times and he always answer in a good manner. He always was telling us in detail about this tour. As we arrived to Osaka, our guide Brian was waiting for us. We were very lucky to have him as our guide. He was very professional, nice and responsible. we had a very good time, we were a group of 5 and my husband and my kids enjoy all the tour. The hotels in Osaka and Kyoto were plus, the one in Tokyo was very well located but the room very small, that was the only complain that we have. The tour was very well planed and very organize as we were a big group. Brian always was on top of everything and everyone. All the places that we went were the main places to know. Thank youDavie and Brian, We hope that you will get a kudos for you job as it was very well done, above we were expecting.
