I was fortunate to meet two of the owners, Mikey and Tak who were super friendly and oriented me to the circuit. Both of them have backgrounds in martial arts, boxing, etc. The place isn't big and there are no lockers, but it's a great place because the instructors know you by name and they tailor the activity to your level. There is a membership commitment for a year and there is no drop in, but they do allow you to have a free trial workout to see if you like it. There is free side street parking, and the hours are great, mon/tues/ wed/ fri 8;30 am-12:30pm, mon-thurs 3:30-7:30pm, and sat 8-12pm. It's pretty nice if you have work, want to work out, and then head out to a nice dinner. I was so happy to have found this place :)

I've also had several personal training sessions with them and found the training to be excellent. I would recommend the place to my friends, it's great. Side Note: The CBC is running a show called "Village On A Diet" and Mike Veinot, one of the owners at Rep1, is one of the main trainers on the show. Sort of fun, if you want a celebrity trainer, Mike is the guy to ask for :)

I have referred about 20 people to Team Fitness and many of them have stuck with it and are in great shape now. They also have a nutritionist that tailors a 90 day meal plan for you. She asked me what I already like to eat and I let them know that I have no time to prepare food. The plan was so easy to follow and included things like boiled eggs and an apple for breakfast, 15 almonds for a snack before lunch and the essential cheat meal I looked forward to once a week. I…read moretake training quite seriously and was looking for a gym that was open 24 hours and had decent equipment, so this fit the bill perfectly. I came to this location for 2.5 years and loved it. Equipment was always clean, and if it was ever down, it was never down for over a week. Maintenance and cleanliness were top-notch were a gym. There were more than enough accessories such as foam rollers and workout bands, etc. as well. The staff are incredibly friendly and always greet you if you're in during their hours. There's always personal training available to you and my favorite part is that they're busy, but never ABSOLUTELY packed like other gyms have been. I've since walked into many, many Anytime Fitness locations and this one is by FAR the cleanest, best-run location I've ever seen. I would come back here in a heartbeat. I really can't complain about anything at this location! Even the clientele at this location is super respectful, which made my experience at the gym a lot more comfortable. The ONLY downfall is that it's a bit pricey, but this isn't exactly location-dependent; the entire chain charges $50~/month+.

I was referred to Ryan Lacey following a car accident I experienced back in October. While his…read moreintentions to facilitate my recovery were good, I felt we were not the right fit for my rehab program. After only using the initial assessment and 2 of my 6 pre-paid sessions, Ryan said he would refund me as we agreed to go our own ways, and I would return to work with my personal trainer. I'm so disappointed to say that it's been over 2 months since Ryan agreed to send my refund, and he unfortunately is not communicating with me. The last time he communicated was January 6th. I have been emailing, texting and phoning Ryan, though he is electing not to communicate. I'm disappointed on his service as it's a reflection of his business practice and those who refer to him. I would not recommend Ryan as a rehab facilitator, after the lack of integrity I have experienced with Ryan. I'm hoping no one else receives the same experience.

I got to see the space upstairs and loved the bright light, big windows and open space with plants. Went back downstairs for the yoga and sound bath experience and loved that space too! So intimate with ambiant lighting and all the props. The yoga flow was great. And then the sound bath - so relaxing with some essential oils and blanket. Can't wait to come back.

I love how mats, blocks, etc are all provided and the amenities are also great - showers are always cleaned and stocked. They also have tea on sight. The upstairs yoga studio is absolutely beautiful with floor to ceiling glass windows and lets alot of light in. The classes are a hit or miss for me - I'd say some classes are really good and usually full (empower flow and yogalates) while some of the other classes are not as enjoyable and a bit slow. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I reccomend popping in during their $15 Happy hour class deals, since they will no longer be on Classpass in May.
