I found Aida's on a whim and went in immediately in the morning as they open at 7 am. I noted the stains on my coat and they paid special attention to them. They have super fast service and got my coat done in 2 days for under $20! I was thrilled I could spend the rest of my work trip wearing my nice coat. The staff here is also so friendly and extremely knowledgeable and have been in the business for over 20 years! I say I have a pair of Jeans that I'd like altered. Not a problem and I'm shown to the dressing room. The jeans are marked and I'm told they'll be ready in a few days. I stopped by today and the jeans are ready for pick up. $25 bucks for the alternation, I brought cash. Easy transaction and I'm on my way. I just tried on the jeans, the length is correct and I'm a happy guy. Ingrid, it may be old school up in here but I'm old school! I'll be back the next time I need alterations.

They cut off the front and put a loop on the back to attach to the button that was already on the dress. The sides of the dress were 12" on the floor on each side and the middle was dragging even looped on the highest button. There was absolutely no attempt at design or craftsmanship. We also asked to put breast pads in front and they sewed these size DD ones onto the small ones that were already there; we had to remove them ourselves. We now had 2 pairs of pads and they went down to the bride's ribs. Something is wrong there. A bustle, breast pads, and a hem on a dress are standard everyday requests. I hope this review saves a few brides from disaster!

He also said they didn't have certain colors, but he would show us something "close" that wasn't close at all. He looked more annoyed by helping us than anything. And when he was writing our information on the paper they have - I was afraid he was going to get something wrong, because his handwriting is chicken scratch. After he wrote all this information down, he took us to the computer and typed in some information, also. We knew after dealing with him these people were not getting our money. Super unorganized and all. Not only that, they just have samples of the colors for rentals, such as half cut jackets that you can just "see" what the pattern is - you can't try it on because they're all attached as one. It's absolutely insane to me. Never again will we be coming here. We asked for his name because we wanted to "give him the commission" and he said they don't even do that - then what's the drive to helping customers then? None apparently. Update: I get these dumb e-mails that remind me for measurements. Well i can't unsubscribe unless i make an account. And I realize that this Otto guy, when he put it into the system.. The sales lady Maryam was so patient and nice with my mom. She found many dresses in her size and gave us so many options to chose from. Eventually, my mom found the perfect dress for her in blue that fit her body. I am so happy with Maryam's great customer service and patience!
