We brought her home that weekend and the loving and caring staff not only got her comfortable but more importantly, she had a series of falls the last few months before this hospital visit, so she had not walked for almost 8 months. She was started on some muscle strengthening exercises, given some tender love and care, and not only did she make it through the weekend, but she walked about a month later for the first time in a long time, and lived almost 7 months after receiving such initial devastating news. From the first visit to get enrolled to the day of my husband's funeral they were an absolute Godsend to me and my family. Although his caregivers changed a few times he always had the best of care. Their response to anything we needed was almost always immediate. My family, even our dogs, considered these ladies family. The last aide we had was Summer. She will always have a place in our hearts. She treated us all with special love and care. J'Lyn was his last nurse and was every bit as wonderful as Summer. We couldn't have have asked for better, more compassionate care. My husband's passing was with peace and dignity, just as it should have been. I recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone in need of hospice.
