Started discussing a project with Keith one of the lead landscape associates. The time to get the quote took longer then anticipated / discussed. Contacted Nicole Ali to discuss in more detail and get a full breakdown of the project and was asked to wait since she was going on vacation and promised to get back to me once she returned in the first week in December. She finally reached out 9 days ago. Zero acknowledgment about her delayed response... Seriously 4 months later!!! I responded with my frustrations politely looking / asking for her reply... it's been a week and a half. Again no response... I've done a ton of business with Ali's previously and recommended them to others. At this point I'm done!!! I was finally giving in from DIY to hiring a company but I guess my money isn't good enough any longer... I'll be looking for another business to take care of my landscaping needs from now on. They have lost out on a once loyal customer... buyer beware!!! read more

Done. We ordered topsoil and compost mix and got an unscreened mess of heavy rocky soil and what felt like concrete. I even found a chunk of a cinder block at the bottom of the pile. I just did some work around the foundation of my house and the filler soil was beautiful compared to what Ali's charged me for. read more

My grandson picked up my purchase for our family grave and when he arrived he was able to get the product requested. The selection was limited and I am unsure if that was due to phone order or not. The product was beautiful. read more

I spoke with Greg today and ordered a delivery of stone. Greg is a consummate professional! We've done business with Ali's before. The driver arrived on time dumped the stone and was on his way to make another delivery! Excellent Service! We'll be using Ali's again! read more

Let me be frank: I was treated very unprofessionally. I was looking for specific type of mulch, and the gentleman I spoke to assured me that they had it in stock. I don't know who he was, but he said he would pass the information to their landscaping department. I didn't hear back, so I called again and got the same reply--they had it in stock, and would call me back. This went on for over a week. I would call, and I would be assured that the landscaping department had gotten the message. I finally did get a call back--as I said, over a week later--and was told that they do not have the product I was looking for. If they had called me back within a day or two, even if it was with bad news, I would have been satisfied. But there's no excuse for leaving a potential customer hanging like that. It makes me wonder if they would have followed through anyways. read more

I am very disappointed in this nursery. I have left multiple messages with Kim (I believe that's her name at the front desk when you first call) she gave me a price for $483 for play sand for a swing set. I told her I needed delivery when I asked for the play sand. I believe I said it multiple times that it was delivery. So I then see on my bank statement I was charged $580, an additional $100, when I was told $483. I have called and spoke with Kim she apparently can't help me and is rude when you call the nursery. I have left so many messages and have called so many times but not a a single person has called me back. I will never use this place again for anything. I am not happy. read more

I have ordered topsoil delivered three times through Ali's. The soil itself is above average. Fabulous product and delivery is fantastic. The price went up a bit from last year but the last delivery I requested came within hours of the call!! Highly recommend Ali's! read more

Working with Ali's on backyard renovation was an absolute nightmare. The entire staff has no attention to detail or pride in workmanship. Quoted 6 week timeframe to complete the project and after 18 months of headaches and lies had to hire another contractor to fix the mess they made. Owner will not return calls or give refund for payment made and work still not completed. My fault for making payments prior to finished product. Please take your business elsewhere. This place will promise you the world and deliver nothing. Owner is a liar and sleezball. Go to town and see how many judgements against him. read more

It's funny to me how people will anonymously write a review that totally blasts a company. To me it seems very unfair. I have shopped at Ali's numerous times. Every single time they are friendly, helpful, and go out of their way to treat people right. Not just me, but others who are there at the same time. Getting good customer service is as much about who you are as it is about who a company is. You get what you give. Don't worry about shopping at Ali's. They really are a great bunch from Greg on down. read more

Well Chuck D., if you paid Greg Ali with cash money for topsoil and he didn't deliver or refund your money, would that constitute as great service? What if you were a parent of a toddler and all you wanted was a nice lawn for your little girl to play on and Ali's Nursery took your hard earned money and gave you NOTHING in return? Bought a piece of metal art for my patio. We could not put it up ,due to the vinyl siding. I went to return it ,with receipt. Three days later and they would NOT give me my money back, only store credit. They never said sales are final. I ask if there was a sign. It was hidden behind the glass. It was 100 hundred dollars, that I now have to use there. I will never go back to this place. Poor customer service. read more

The young lady in the office was extremely helpful in helping me choose landscape stones. I had been to Lowes and Home Depot and was very frustrated with what was there. The young men that worked there helped with getting the stones. I will definitely go back there the next time I need landscaping help. I have spread my experience to family and friends! read more

The products purchased from ALI's nursery were great - - the trimming job requested was well done - the price quoted was accepted however the amount paid for the total service received was a bit much - when The owner was contacted with the question he said he would call next day -- never did - second call to him from customer he explained his opinion and said he would review bill amd call the next day -- days and day a past no phone call - the bill will be paid but we will make sure we do not do business with this nursery again read more

I've owned a home for 20 years, hired numerous contractors to do work and Alis is absolutely the WORST ONE I ever hired. I hired them to plant 10 arborvitaes in June 2012. The day they were supposed to show up they didn't, with no courtesy call that they wouldn't be there. They finally showed up 3 days later and planted 10 eight foot trees, which after installed looked good. But after 3 months 2 of the tress started to look faded out, they were notified but did nothing. Told me give it until spring, I did and the 2 died. I called them in April and they finally showed up in June to replace them, only problem was they installed new trees that were half the size (4 feet) of what I originally paid for. Now 3 months later (Sept) I'm still chasing them down and keep getting told by their owner Greg that I'm on the list. This company was recommended by a neighbor but I would advise everybody to take your money elsewhere. Very poor customer service, theres a lot of landscapers out there, next time I will use someone else. read more

I don't shop at Ali's all that much, just for pumpkins annually and when I'm there I find things in the store, flags, wind chimes and that sort of thing. They've been nothing but helpful each time, carrying the pumpkins out to my car etc. I will continue to go there, very nice people. read more

I had a disappointing experience with this nursery. I ordered 3yards of stone. They confirmed they had the product in stock. I arranged to have a work crew on site for the work. ali's delivered 2 yards. Since the delivery looked short - I called them. Only then did they reveal that they didn't have enough product. It cost me an additional day for the workmen to come back to the job when Ali's got their act together. Unreliable supplier. They would have kept my money for 3 yards after delivering 2 I f I hadn't called. read more
