We have purchased a number of flowering baskets and planters over the years and returned again this year, but not without checking out several competitors. In each case, we found the quality and pricing to be better at Dietrich so a couple of subsequent visits were made to complete our needs. My absolute favorite plant place to go get beautiful perennials for my yard! My husband jokes that my car automatically pulls to turn into the parking lot every time we drive by... when it's just me driving... it's usually true!!! Dietrich has an amazing assortment of plants. Everything you're looking for and even more you didn't know you wanted. Staff is friendly and helpful in finding plants. Only complaint is the plants aren't clearly marked for their prices but the prices are comparable to other nurseries. read more

The selection is absolutely divine, I love going there I feel like I'm in another world. They seems to take care of their plants and have reasonable prices and the workers are normally in good moods and happy to help. This is the reason I come there. ONE major problem I've been coming across, that makes me go other places, is their advertising of hours. On two occasions we came here they were closing up and wouldn't even let us browse the outside. The internet hours say one thing and they randomly decide to close at another. It isn't like it's just a 2 minute drive, it's a bit of a stretch going there. It's just disappointing going to a nice shop with and idea of what you want and being all excited, then find someone closing up and not being very friendly about it. I recommend to anyone want to go here to not trust ANY internet hours they have posted anywhere. Honestly not even their sign outside, just call them five minutes before leaving your house, head straight over. read more

You can go to Home Depot or Lowe's for plants and supplies, but if you appreciate a wider variety and healthier plants, this is your place. Their plants and flowers are typically much further along in development which makes for a more successful transplant. It may cost a couple $ more, but worth it. I've always been greeted by staff and they have been friendly and helpful with questions. read more

Big selection, gorgeous and interesting plants, the choices you'd expect but also a good place to find something different. Plants carefully tended to. Really nice herbs and vegetables too. Prices reasonable especially when you consider quality. Helpful and friendly and very knowledgable staff. I just moved to town and was told I MUST go here, so I did and was extremely disappointed. I was looking for indoor house plants which they had but wayyy over priced to the point where I didn't even bother looking at the rest. The older woman at the register took forever to acknowledge me... ok that's fine I'm patient. Then I asked for two bags of espona soil and I gave her $100 bill and got a snotty remark, so I offered my debit card cause it obviously sounded like an issue. Mind you I spent 40$ on two bags of soil and you don't have 60$ to give back? She took the money and explained they had a busy morning so she was able to give me my change. She gave me my change and I asked what to do to get the soil as i was a first timer and she gave me a snide remark and pointed. Because of this old crotchety woman I will never be returning. Someone needs to tell her she's in customer service. read more
