The office staff cancelled the appt because the paperwork wasnt filled in 24 hrs before the appt although the email said it could be done at my convenience or come earlyto the appointment to complete paperwork. When they cancelled it there was no notice, it was done via email. When I called they said the doc needed 24 hours to review the 4 pages of family history (which we know is never done) and when I tried to have the appt put back on the books because the paperwork WAS filled out, they would not. So not my son who needed the appointment as prep work for surgery WILL NOT have the help he needs. But they didnt care. Find a more cooperative office.

From the moment I met him, his professionalism, honesty, and willingness to try to help me with a prior bad breast surgery that had left me looking and feeling terrible was such a relief. His confidence and experience in breast implant revision gave me the courage to proceed with yet another implant exchange/ revision, my fourth in three years... he spent about an hour and a half with me on my 1st consult going over everything from my past failed surgeries to my expectations and his game plan. When I went in again with my husband, for a second consult, he was just as kind patient and honest about everything that we would need to do and what to expect, which gave both myself and my husband such a sense of relief. Wow interesting, I see reviews for Dr. Friedman are all over the place. I just had my surgery a few…read moremonths ago, right before he retired. I had a septo-rhinoplasty, so both he and my ENT (who was also excellent) did the surgery together. I had a double deviated septum, nose was a little crooked, collapsed nasal passages, etc...the whole 9. I actually needed my nose widened and rebuilt with spreader graphs, and it was a success. My surgery was a piece of cake...I actually never really felt pain and didn't need my pain meds once home. While I got really nervous once the splint and banadages were off, after a couple of weeks when my nose settled, I LOVED the final result! I feel like this is the nose I was supposed to have, much more straight and beautiful!! IMO Dr. Friedman did a wonderful job. I was nervous as hell beforehand and right after (I mean it's a NOSE after all lol), but I love it. I was fine with his bedside manner, felt a tiny bit rushed at times but he is/was a very busy surgeon so... I felt like he was very honest with me. I had asked him about doing something to my nose that I wanted, and he looked me over and said he wouldn't recommend it because "people pay me a lot of money to have your nose." I was initially disappointed because I thought I could walk in there and presto get exactly what I wanted. His result was more subtle than what I asked for but it is beautiful and definitely a HUGE improvement from the before!!!! I was impressed with Plastic Surgery Institute of Washington, the staff was great and Karen was AWESOME (patient coordinator)... shout out to you Karen!!!! :)) All in all I had a good experience here!

She is knowledgeable, and conscientious, and takes her time to make sure everything is seen. Often dermatologists quickly go over your body and don't talk about what they see. Maria takes her time and describes everything she sees so that you have confidence that nothing has been missed, even that dangerous looking dark spot that you were sure was cancer and that she identifies as just extra melanin that is normal even before you can ask her.

I stopped in to purchase a lotion, and the front desk employee with dark hair looked me up and down in a way that made me feel unwelcome, as if I was inconveniencing her. Her attitude throughout the interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. When I later expressed my dissatisfaction to another front desk employee/cashier with grey hair, she also responded with an abrupt and defensive tone instead of trying to address my concerns. As I see other people have left same reviews . I do want to say that Maria Bertangolli has been amazing. She has always treated me with kindness and professionalism, addressed all of my concerns, and helped resolve my skin issues. She is the reason I continue to come to this practice, and I truly appreciate the excellent care she provided.

Starting with Dr. Isaac; she is rude, condescending, mean, impatient and treats her staff with total disrespect. She only has respect for a few of her staff, while the others could go to hell for all she cares. Dr. Isaac often seemed more focused on asserting power and control rather than fostering a healthy, productive work environment. Most days Dr. Isaac comes in with an attitude that ruins the rest of the day for her staff. The toxic atmosphere created by constant micromanagement, unrealistic expectations, and dismissive behavior made it difficult to stay motivated. As for Dr. Yanes, he wasn't as bad. He was being controlled by Dr. Isaac so he almost didn't have a choice. I would not recommend this company to anyone who values a respectful and supportive work environment. It's unfortunate, as the work itself could have been rewarding, but the management culture made it impossible to thrive.

They only billed 1 of 2 health insurances. I had to call the billing department 888 phone number to rectify this problem. I noted that I had a severe allergic reaction to the medical tape by calling on two separate days to ask for help. Not one person, not even the dr who saw me, responded. Terrible bedside manners, go to another dermatologist in Wheaton for example.
