We've had the Alka Vida system for many years. Once a year the filters need to be replaced. This year, in addition to the carbon filter, prefilter, and mineral filter (all replaced once per year) we also had to have the membrane replaced (once every four years.) Victor and Victor Jr arrive on time each year, are very polite, are friendly and professional, and quickly replace the necessary filters. Victor and Victor Jr. arrived early on the scheduled date of installation and installed the Alkavida system under an HOUR!!! That's so awesome! Victor Jr. Installed the alkaline system under the sink while his father, Victor, installed the filters in the garage! Their coordinated effort was just pure professional! Fast, clean and very meticulous. Both Victors explained the whole system to me with clarity. Regretfully, the ordered Alkachill, wasn't installed due to the miscommunication from the LA Alkavida office to Victor (not fault of his own) but he still installed the line for the Alkachill and had the LA Alkavida home office mail the Alkachill to our house. Victor explained to me how to connect the Alkachill when it arrives (step-by-step) but also to call home, in case, I need further instructions. Overall, the work, customer service and knowledge of the Alkavida filtration and underline alkaline system is just OUTSTANDING!!! So I called Monday April 22 for servicing of my Alkavida water treatment system and was told the person who schedules was unavailable and to leave a voicemail. After not hearing from them, on Wednesday April 24 I called back and received an appointment for today from 10:00-1:00 pm. As 1:00 pm came and went and not receiving any updates, I called and after being placed on while the receptionist called the tech, was told he was still at the previous address. I asked to reschedule and was the next available was two weeks from now. I've never been so inconvenienced to spend $300 for a service.
