They recently helped me take my reverse osmosis system with me from my old house to my new one when I moved. I went with Kinetico after getting a quote somewhere else. The prices were comparable, but Kinetico separates the resin and carbon tanks (the other one didn't. The install took about 5 hours to install the softener, carbon and sediment filter. Plus we need a dedicated line just for the backyard (since soft water is bad for plant watering). Two installers came, were quick and professional and nice. I tested the line afterwards for micro leaks, and there were none. Overall, I am very happy with the clean install, the new soft water, and fact that there seem to be no leaks at all. read more

I called to find out more information and Edward was very knowledgeable about the water filters available and was not pushy at all. He gave us a great deal for the holiday! After 38+ years of lugging Sparkletts 3 gallon bottles from our front porch to our water cooler in the back of our house we decided to install a whole home water treatment system and a reverse osmosis drinking water system. Through Yelp, I selected 4 top companies that had recent reviews. While price was a concern, quality, customer support and reliability were most important. All the companies that I spoke with had good products, but Kinetico was the standout with their Kinetico K5 Drinking Water Station. This system produces drinking water better then Sparkletts. The water tastes fresh like a high altitude mountain stream. Our ice cubes are so clear that they look like they came from a glacier. The soft water treatment system from Kinetico takes our heavy chlorinated hard water and turns it into soft clean water that allows our dishwasher to leave glasses sparkling and our clothes from the washing machine soft and fluffy. Truly happy with my system, had extremely hard water in my city and had many vendors come to give estimates. The estimates were a little ludicrous and when I found Kinetico, the price and quality made sense. First off, if you're planning on buying cheap units then cheap is what you get, The setup that Kinetico has is beyond what I've seen others do, specially the over priced ones. Got a really good deal for Black Friday and ended installing a single water softener tank, whole house filter with sediment filter. Also I got a reverse osmosis setup in the kitchen which the installer did a phenomenal job. If you're planning on buying a water softener, Kinetico is the way to go. Installed a Kinetico K5. Not gonna sugar coat this. The K5 is expensive, but we felt it was worth the cost to get really great, healthy drinking water. Kinetico of LA was SUPER patient with me as I had a ton of questions while deciding between this and a Culligan system. They took texts, calls, and emails if I wanted. In the end we decided to pay more to get a better system for us. They had to reschedule the install which we didn't like, but they were professional and apologetic. They came a couple days later. The installer was very professional and considerate. Wore booties to keep our floors clean even (rare it seems in LA). Install was done fast, efficiently, he even cleaned up. I got a text the next day after install to make sure everything was working great. I had a couple issues/questions that they solved easily. Great company to work with and trust. read more

System has been installed four months. Huge and noticeable difference in water quality. Got it mostly because high mineral and chloramine was damaging the pipes, but it sure does feel good too. Whole crew is great, but Dan the installer is especially awesome. And Alex really is the ideal salesman. Responsive, honest, caring. He made me feel good about buying this system, and he was a huge change from a lot of the hucksters I encountered during this process. Water "purity" invites snake oil salesmen. But Alex is not that. Such a great company to talk to and have them educate you more about water softening system. I reached out to Kinetico about being interested in a Water Softener system for my house due to noticing water spots were more frequent during my car washes and on my polished tiles in my newly remodeled shower. I was able to set up an on site plumbing audit with Phil and he did such an amazing job on going through the area of where they'll need to do the plumbing and educated me on the difference between a digital system versus a non digital system. He also took his time to address my concern about where I wanted filter water for my car washes. He also did the water test in front of me which I really appreciate because when I schedule a water test with another company they didn't even do the test. They just told me that my area is known to have hard water. After installing the Kinetico system, my water is silky smooth, and tastes fantastic out of the new RO faucet. The team was super knowledgeable, polite, and prompt the entire time. And the install looks and functions great. There is sensor software that notifies the user when salt needs to be added to the tank. For some reason that software did not play nicely with my wireless network. Even though the app is optional and not required for the system, Nikita would not accept it not-working.
