Tony recommended a new faucet that I was not aware was available. I am very happy that I found Kwench. I took the machine to be serviced. Tony reconditioned our machine with what they call the white glove service. Wow, the machine looks brand new. The metal plates were filled with deposits over the years. Tony did extra cleaning to get clear water with a level of 769 (look at my photos). The lever before the cleaning was around 100. The waster started out very cloudy and ended up crystal clear after many cycles. It have been a very long time since we serviced out machine. The service takes about one hour and you can wait or come back the following day. The parking is very easy and the facilities are top notch. Tony showed me the working area where the machines are cleaned with pumps and special mixtures to get your machine to work as good as new. We are going to take our machine there one a year for cleaning from now on. Going all the way to Torrance was an option that we always put off. This store is easy to get to and we are very happy with the customer service that Kwench gave us. Our family has been drinking alkaline water for over 10 years. The benefits are noticeable when you are consistent and dedicated. I always carry my own water with me. Standard City water is 7.0pH. Bottled water is a surprising 6.5pH and has micro plastics that have recently been found inside human tissue. Look it up! The Kangen alkaline machine give us a constant 9.5pH. Staff has been very patient explaining the science behind what they do, installation worker remembered me from 2 years ago, was very friendly and straight forward. Work was done quickly and professionally, labor costs are low, and prices are competitive. This is a small business of people who care about their customers and work hard. I sit down and wait for my five bottles to be filled. I said oh can you add a bag of ice too. As in also, not two! After I pay and sit down, I realize she charged me for two bottles of ice. I said I only wanted one bag of ice. She says well you paid for two I said well you can remove one because I have no room in my freezer for two. She wants to roll her eyes and give mad dirty looks. I'm done coming here. Each experience I've had with her has been unpleasant. When the man brought my water bottles out I was trying to put my seatbelt around the bottles like the owner does when I turned around after belting my bottles in the man was gone for me to even give him a tip, and I wasn't gonna go back in there and get dirty looks from the young girl that's unpleasant. I used John Murray because my condo Complex uses them and we have pretty bad pipes. So I called…read morethem for a leak from my shower upstairs. The sent a very nice man over who showed up on time and was very professional. After 2 hours he determined that the shower vaulve was leaking. 2 hours seems like a long time. I did tell him that I had replaced the bath overflow and thought I had messed that up. It turns out I was wrong and the issue was the shower valve. So I said ok go ahead and replace it. He informed me that he couldn't, an estimator would have to send me an estimate and he would have to come back and that the charge for today was $320. $320. keep in mind that is for cutting a hole in the wall and finding a leak that was 6 inches behind the wall. Then 3 days later I get an email asking for my email address so they can send me an invoice. I ask how much is it I want to get this scheduled. She explained she did not know and that the email would have the quote. I said ok and that I would wait. So the email comes. $1010 was the quote in addition to the $320 charged to say the valve was leaking. I have no idea if this is a good idea or not and I need it fixed so I called them to schedule. They informed me that I needed to sign the estiamate first and send it back. I said I did not have that facility. they basically gave some options for downloading ot my phone and signing on my phone, but pretty much figure it out yourself. I said this it too much work and that I would go with someone else. Side note I am actually on the HOA board I have not done business directly with them before, but I was told good things by the management company. Apparently they were not correct on their assessment of their customer service and pricing as searching on google show a reasonable price to be around $600 not $1330. So I will be looking at these invoices more closely when they come from the management company and start asking for competing bids.
