With Barks and Bows, there has never been a problem, I feel like the owner really listens to how I want Tilly groomed, and takes the time to do the job right. She comes out super clean and adorable with a seasonal bandana on. My dog also loves that the owner doesn't put her in a cage while she's waiting for me to pick her up. Occasionally forget to trim nails. I would give 5 stars because I really like the groomers, but the only thing that drives me crazy is the trainer in the lobby. While I realize she is trying to run a business, it's terrible to arrive for check in for grooming and being told "don't do this. Stand away from this dog. etc. etc." I want to be understanding, but the last visit it got downright rude. Perhaps there is not enough space? Maybe there is a more conducive location? Not sure, but I do know that our pups are scared enough to come to the groomer and when we arrive we are trying to keep them calm with calm voices because they can sense everything.

When we walked in, right away Jessica warmly greeted us. She told us what she would be doing today to Max and basically her philosophy on grooming. I like the fact I can make an appointment and he is not at the groomers all day. He is not crated or caged ( which he does not like) either, another plus. When I picked him up, he was ready to go, no waiting and he looked fabulous. His coat was beautiful and his skin felt soft underneath. Even Max's cat at home nuzzled into his coat, giving Jessica her unofficial endorsement. He looked great for a longer than usual time and he seemed to not shed quite as much. We couldn't be happier!

I had been a loyal customer at Complete Dog for a while and always trusted them with my dog. The day after her appointment, I noticed a cut and called the groomer right away to ask what happened. They denied any responsibility and showed no concern. I took her to the vet, and when they saw the cut, they told us to bring her in almost immediately because they were worried it could be infected. After examining her, they said it likely could've happened at the groomer. The owner refunded the vet bill--but called it a "courtesy" and still denied anything happened under their care. They also refused to refund the grooming, saying they should still be paid because the haircut was "completed." My dog was hurt, and all they seemed to care about was getting paid. The way I was treated as a customer was cold, rude, and completely unprofessional. This was an incredibly upsetting experience, and I would never want another pet owner or pet to go through what we did. Please think twice before taking your dog to Complete Dog.

My senior dog can't take epic grooming sessions, and her hair was choppy and uneven after her last groom. Her ears and tail had been weirdly shaved, and I wasn't sure we'd be able to make her look normal again during her lifetime. The staff at Rover's is friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. The groomer we saw today has been grooming for 18 years, and had my sweet pup groomed in 45 minutes--and it's the best cut she's had in years. She did what she could to round out her ears, and to help set her up with a cut she can grow back into and look like herself again. My dog is fluffy, soft, adorable, and HAPPY! As a side note, all of the groomers there today were being so warm and friendly with the dogs in their care. I even saw one groomer sitting on the floor keeping a dog company while it waited for its owner. We will be going to Rover's for our grooming from now on!!

It's often too many for him or her to control. One family member compared Rover's Place to a shelter because the dogs are put into crates more often than they should be.
