we brought our dog in because he was smelly, needed his nails cut, teeth brushed and ears cleaned. I think all they did was cut his nails because he came back smelling bad, his teeth were clearly not brushed and his ears were not cleaned at all. his nails were also very poorly cut. We paid for an hour service and he was done in 25 mins. we paid additional for teeth cleaning and that never happened. I'm so disappointed and will never go back there again. waste of money. they returned him in the same shape he was brought in. all they did was take our money and never told us about services they couldn't preform. never again. read more

I had a great experience at All 4 Paws in Johnston, RI. My mom recommended them after PetCo canceled my appointment due to a snow day, and they were kind enough to accommodate me the same day. Kierra was my groomer and she was incredibly kind and informative with my mini Goldendoodle, Ozzy. She actually recommended not doing the full grooming service I originally booked since he's still a puppy, explaining that it's best to start slow so he isn't traumatized. I really appreciated her honesty and care. She did a wonderful job focusing on his face and paws, and Ozzy looked adorable when I picked him up. Call the number from a Google search. Found out they have a location in Pawtucket. As I live in the city too. Made an appointment with I believe the owner which is not on the premises she quoted me a total of $235 for two dogs to groom. Brought the dogs in then got a text message with the invoice which was going to be $287 because they upcharge the little dog another $35 because of the way and they say it's listed on their website. This is after I talk to the owner of the company and quoted me 235 for the two dogs then the final bill came out to 287. I went in to tell him I got two different prices they gave me a bunch of excuses which didn't make sense. The owner also said that the little dog bit the groomer twice. I went in to talk to him about that she said that the dog was muzzled the whole time during his session. How did she get bit twice if he's wearing a muzzle? Then of course they charge me a $10 special handling fee because supposedly she got bit. They gave me the original price and then they upcharge my card for the price they felt was correct. Never go to this place as far as I'm concerned if you lied to it's not a good business stay away from this company altogether read more

Third time we have been there. Today was the last straw. First time they didnt do my puppies private areas so he caught a urinary tract infection and shaved his whiskers 'he he was only about 4 1/2 months old at the time'. This time i told them to leave my puppies beard and not cut it at all and they completely shaved it off, and again along with all of his whiskers after we had been letting it grow for about 2 months. Didnt even attempt to leave it alone like i asked, and nor did they cut the hair from the inside of his ears. For this price youd expect more. ​overall the experience was awesome, and they are respectful and quick. But they dont follow instructions. I've been taking my pup Henry to All 4 Paws for almost 3 years so this review is long overdue. When I moved to RI I tried a few groomers in the area and none come even close to the amount of care and skill provided compared to All 4 Paws. Our little guy is very anxious especially around big dogs, and they have been overly accommodating to schedule early morning or Sunday appointments so there are fewer dogs there at the same time. We had a gum /tar in the pad incident recently and unable to get it out at home. I contacted Mary the owner after hours on a Friday night and she responded quickly and told me to bring him by the next morning! Henry has come back from other groomers out of sorts for a few days after his appointment but that has never been the case here. I noticed a previous review from someone complaining about a price increase. Firstly, if the price was $40 they were getting grossly undercharged! Secondly, you can't put a price on the care and safety of your animal. I personally think the rates are more than fair. read more

The staff could not be more impressive! My cat is shy (sweet nonetheless). She isn't used to dogs and was shaking when they were barking. The staff was so attentive to her and did an excellent job grooming her (she smells like lavender!) and her nails have never been trimmed better. read more

Where do I even raving about this place? I have a 5month old Yorki that had a not so pleasant experience at his first grooming so I was super nervous about where to bring him next. However after reading many reviews I just knew this was the place for my Gizmo! Mary was able To fit me in the same day which worked out great. As soon as I walked in she greeted us at the door and made him feel right at home. I loved that the space is open and you can see them grooming other pets. All the pets seemed very content as so did my pup! When I got there my pup was in a open Play pen and was very happy to see the staff come get him. He smelled good and had to be perfect cut! I just had my cat groomed and could not be happier with the results! I got in the next day after making contact. She had a lot of matted furs underneath her legs and near her butt that are hard to reach places to groom at home. They were able to get all the matted furs out, wash and de-shed her. Her fur is so soft and fluffy and a great deal lighter than when I brought her in. I will definitely be back. read more

In spring of 2020, I was left without a groomer for one of my Maine Coons. I scrambled to find a groomer that took cats (since most are for dogs) and stumbled upon this gem. After a great conversation, I scheduled an appointment for my cat. Upon arrival, facility was clean, and didn't have that wet dog smell that some groomers have. Facility also has parking. I met with the groomer, Mary and she was so polite, knowledgeable and gave me a comfortable feeling of leaving my cat with her. Mary was super quick! Most groomers take forever, and here I was, receiving a cal about an hour and 10 minutes later to go pick her up! I went and picked up my cat, who was in an excellent mood-happy and purring and she looked so cute. She did a great job. Her nails were perfectly done, her mane was nice and thinned out and her lions cut looked so cute! She did say my cat was good, which she usually is. But it was reassuring to hear her say that. My cat has seen Mary a few times now and will continue to go to this groomer for their excellent service, great cutting techniques, fast grooming times and very fair and reasonable prices. The owner, Mary, was very transparent with pricing and she let me know that it would take up to two hours to complete a cut, wash and nail trim. Not only is the pricing very reasonable, I love the fact that the dogs get space to roam around rather than being crated. I've had my cats groomed for 13 years and been to a few groomers due to moves and scheduling. It is very hard to find a great groomer - but I've found that in A4P. They are both very long haired and not happy going to the groomer and Mary and her team do such a wonderful job of grooming and shaving them down AND they come home not as stressed as they have in the past. There are not enough words to describe how much we love Mary and the other girls at All 4 Paws. Our dog is anxious, older and does not get along with other dogs. but the girls here always make sure to accommodate us and are so amazing with Luca.
