A Room to Groom is positively amazing! We brought our 2 pups here this past weekend. Both were a bit on the anxious/nervous side, but Chris was great with them. He took the time to reassure and soothe them. He made sure they were comfortable in the environment before even beginning the grooming process -- that included actually sitting on the floor of the salon and calming our dog before actually getting started. The staff here TRULY CARE for your pets and want to ensure the best possible experience! Bianca was fantastic as well - I lost count of how many phone calls/questions I had for her, but she was always super polite and professional. When picking up our dogs, they looked fantastic! Chris then even took the time to discuss vitamins, meal enrichment, etc. with us for at least another 10 minutes. Great place and I have comfort in leaving my dog and 2 cats there knowing they are safe and truly cared for! I have brought my dog there 3 times and my cats will be2 times this coming week. They provide a number of services with the grooming and they always ask you what you want done etc. The love they have for animals can be observed within seconds of walking in and my animals have left happy and clean and most importantly they were treated as if they were the owners animals. I will continue to use "A Room to Groom" and yes RI is small and I could stay closer to home but it's worth the trip from Pawtucket to know that my babies are safe and receiving the services asked for. Our dog is a rescue Havanese. His double coat had gotten too matted while I tried to find a groomer who understood his unique needs. This meant he needed a complete shave. But the owner called me several times during the day to make sure I was ok with what he needed to do and to update me. He gave our pup frequent breaks when he got stressed and took their time. When I picked him up, he was happy and even ran to greet the owner. A far cry from every other previous groomer who left him a quivering, stressed out mess. The owners genuinely care about the well being of their doggo clients. Top notch communication as well. I have two cats who are just around a year old and have never been groomed by anyone except their vet. From the very first phone call I knew this is the place I would be bringing my babies to. I could tell that they care about the well being and safety of all their customers' pets. They truly have a great understanding of animal behavior and because of this my cats had a great experience. One of them got a lion cut for his matts which he was not happy about. They gave him all the time outs he needed and really took their time with him. I cannot say enough GOOD about this place! My dog has anxiety about loud noises, namely clippers. She has a beautiful coat but desperately needed some attention to that beautiful coat. I explained all of this to Chris and his wife on the phone, and then when i took her in for her appointment, they took even MORE time talking to me about it, and her anxiety. When I went back to pick her up several hours later i was met with a happy, beautiful girl that was groomed, cut, clipped and bathed, still smiling! We loved our experience at A Room to Groom! From the beginning, the process was fantastic. The intake forms allowed us to make sure that they were all on the same page with our dog's needs and our desires. When we got there, we instantly felt comfortable leaving our dog with Chris. He made sure our dog felt comfortable with him and worked with him with such care. I had brought my 1 years hold German here. They were fantastic. My pup however was not having it. She atleast got a bath but I want to assume the last place we went to traumatized her unfortunately. I felt so bad for both the dog and the gentleman that took care of my dog. I for sure was getting ready for the " we can't help her" but he surprised me and said he would work with her! Which made me happy. So I made another appointment in a few months. I would recommend this place to anyone! read more

I Took my 10 month old pup to get a wash and cut. Bianca was able to fit me in within a week. They were both super friendly, greeted us with a smile. Bianca asked what type of cut I wanted and went over the process. I dropped him off and a few hours later Riley was ready for pick up . They did an amazing job. They did a great job with my two dogs. I really appreciate the fact that although one of my dogs was a bit anxious during the appointment that they didn't push him to go forward and have a traumatic experience.
