The tech called and said it would be $850 plus $95 service fee so I called a friend who owns a company 150 miles away and said what should this cost to have my unit cleaned . He said $99-$175! ‍ So I put on Facebook any recommendations and got a one man show company that came and cleaned for $99 and no service charge fee. ‍‍‍ I do have to say when I called SOS to cancel my appointment to repair they waived the service charge fee after looking at my scenario so the company does have some good employees.

I called True Pros on at 8am on Sunday, fully expecting them to not get back to us until Tuesday. 15 minutes later, I get a text from the business owner (Katy) letting me know that she's asked for volunteers to come out and rescue us. Within the hour, James called and asked for more details and let us know he was on his way. He came out, confirmed our AC's time of death, and arranged for Rich to come out and provide estimates for a replacement. Rich was here (again, within half an hour) to measure the house and provide us with a few options to choose from. Since I had to be away for an appointment and my husband had been supervising the visit, Rich texted me to make sure I got the quotes and answered my questions quickly and efficiently. We made our decision within the hour and the team bent over backwards to make time to install it on Tuesday. Corbin and Jesse showed up right on time today and worked through lunch to get our new AC system up and running. They were efficient, friendly, and very helpful. The AC is working fabulously and everyone (including our cat) is so grateful not to be living in a sweat box anymore. I love True Pros! They're fast, communicative, and fairly priced. We recently (Dec. '25) purchased a home from an elderly widow in Millcreek. She had new heating and…read moreA/C installed in (Sep. 25) but in June we started the A/C and it froze the evaporator coil. Our regular HVAC came out to inspect it and determined that it was low on refrigerant. Also, the main concern was that it was mounted improperly between 2 sheds with inadequate ventilation. Anderson HVAC sent out the tech that installed it and he said that he wouldn't have installed it there if it was his home. The opposite side of the shed has ample space and is open. He charged the low refrigerant and said he could give me a bid to move it to the correct location. He told me that it didn't have a permit from Millcreek City and Millcreek told me that "he absolutely needed a permit" especially because of the electrical shut off that was installed. It never would have passed inspection mounted in it's current location. It was installed illegally and improperly.

Bridgerland confirmed that I still had 3 years or more left on the unit, it only needed a minor cleaning. I hope others have the same experiences I've had with Bridgerland. First of all, the technician who did not introduce himself with a name, is the only employee to the company. There are not multiple technicians and therefore he answers to no one. Secondly, he came out to inspect my HVAC and told me FAHW would not replace the system, but would rather "put a bandaid on the situation until my policy expired." Can you believe that?! Additionally, when he figured out there was no chance in salvaging my HVAC he told me FAHW would cut me a check for the amount of the system and I could hire anyone else to come out. (This seemed like a good option at this point because I didn't want to do business with Bridgerland again.) Fast forward three weeks, FAHW has still not been able to get ahold of Bridgerland to find out the exact information based on what the old unit was so they know how much it cost to replace it. (Therefore, it has still not been fixed due to his incompetence, disregard for his dozens of angry voicemails I have left, and general lack of human compassion due to the fact it is 100+ degrees EVERY day and he knows he's the only thing standing between me and a fixed HVAC. You could choose ANY other company and be better off than hiring Bridgerland.
