Dylan did the pest control installation and Brandon install the vents in the crawlspace under the house. It was hot and humid, with a heat index of over 100°. They were friendly, courteous, responsive, kind, professional, and worked hard, despite the very difficult weather conditions. They did not complain, and had smiles on their faces the entire time. It was just so wonderful to see. A vent got broken and they came back the very next day and installed it. Stephen came by later that afternoon, to collect payment. What a kind and gentle soul and spirit. They are such a wonderful asset to the company. it speaks volumes as to the type of company Orkin is as it shows via their employees. Service obviously means something, but punctuality, presentation, and attitude are also an indicator of quality, and since they're not painting a fence, washing a car, or something tangible, I believe those are worth far more. I set an appointment for Saturday morning on a Friday afternoon, hoping to get on the schedule. I was promptly called and asked if Monday was agreeable, which it was. The pick-up was scheduled for 0800, and they pulled in at 0759. Time is money for these types of businesses, and these guys know it. We exchanged pleasantries, and they were off to work. In and out in less than 10 minutes off to the next job. The cost for the service was well worth it considering the time I'd take to load, run to the dump, unload, drive back, and everything in between, not to mention - I don't have a truck. Call these guys, you'll be glad you did. Well, that and the significance other will get off your back about the junk in the garage or backyard that needs to go.
