I cannot recommend Full Service Heating & Air Conditioning based on my recent experience…read more I called for an after-hours diagnostic because my rooftop HVAC unit stopped cooling. Before the technician arrived, I explained that the unit had not received routine maintenance since our previous HVAC contractor retired and that the filters likely needed to be replaced. The technician spent short amount of time on-site before leaving. Shortly afterward, the AC worked for 10 mins and stopped working again. I called and texted the company, and they told me someone would return on Saturday. What concerns me is that no one informed me there would be additional charges for the return visit. I was never asked to approve another labor charge before the technician came back. The invoice ultimately included: * $195 diagnostic/trip fee * $97.50 labor * $260 additional labor for the Saturday return visit In my opinion, a flat-rate diagnostic should result in a complete diagnosis of the problem. Instead, the first visit failed to identify or resolve the issue, requiring a return trip that I believe was simply a continuation of the original service call. The invoice notes themselves indicate extremely dirty filters, dirty condenser and evaporator coils, and a high-pressure shutdown issues that were not communicated as a complete diagnosis during the initial visit. I am disputing these charges because: * The initial diagnostic did not resolve or fully diagnose the problem. * I was not informed or asked to authorize additional charges before the return visit. * I believe the billing does not reflect the service that was actually provided. Due to this experience, I have decided to hire another HVAC company and have asked Full Service Heating & Air Conditioning not to perform any further work at my property. I hope the company reviews its communication practices and billing procedures so future customers know exactly what to expect before additional charges are incurred.

After a week it came back on again and I had to follow up with Wilkes where they said they had to come back out since they couldn't get to it directly and had to go through the basement ceiling. They came back out again, charged me more money for the 2nd trip, and said it was fixed. Side note, they had to call a third party Jacuzzi service for advice on how to fix it. A few months later the same problem started again and I called them to see if they would come out and fix it but to my surprise said that because it has been over 60 days, that I'd have to either make another claim with the home warranty service or hire them direct at $60 per trip + $110 per hour. They do not do a quality job to start or on the 2nd time around nor do they warranty their work more than 60 days so I would definitely not recommend this company.

The clunking coming from our master bathroom register as the duct work below it warms up, expanding and contracting but because the lower level is partially finished and drywalled, it was not an easy fix! Our builder along with original contracted HVAC guys were at our house about 6-7 times even my brother who is HVAC certified and all were never able to correct it. I decided to give up on my builder and their HVAC guy and called Jackson Hardware and Heating and Air Conditioning. Gary came out listened to me to be able to fully understand the problem, determined and heard where it was coming from. He understood the severity of it being drywalled in but said he had an idea. He took a length of pipe and pounded it into the duct work, in between the ceiling and the floor above it, creating a dent in the duct. Thus separating it slightly from the restrictions of the drywall studs and clips allowing it to expand and contract without the dreaded clunking! Its been 8 days and we have not heard a single clunk!
