After the horrendous 2019 tornado incidents that tore through the Dayton area, my roof suffered damage being less than 10 miles from several tornado touchdown zones. Once insurance sent their adjuster to assess the damage and what they thought I needed in repairs, I was in the market for a contractor to complete work. I was referred to All American Roofing and Restoration by a few friends, so I gave them a call. I typically feel contractors are out for the money and do the minimum, so I had very low expectations.
I was wowed. They worked patiently with me for almost a year to get my entire roof replaced (as the insurance wanted only a patch job, and the contractor showed me pictures of all the damage through my entire roof that warranted a new one), and made sure to do a thorough job in inspection and record keeping. It took a year to finally get to the point of getting my roof replaced because the insurance company was trying hard to convince me that I did not warrant a new roof. All American Roofing and Restoration informed me of laws and my right as a policy holder and made sure to jump through any ridiculous hoops that the insurance company threw our way (Just an example. They asked us to do a color match on shingles, only to tell us that it didn't matter because they claimed you couldn't see enough of the roof worry about mismatched roof after we took pictures to show the color match laid ontop of the current roof definitely did not match). They diligently kept in contact with me (I received updates within 1 to 3 business days), and always presented me with options. I never felt pressured into situations I was not comfortable with, and I always felt like there were choices on how we could move forward that were in my best interest. Insurance did not make it easy, but I am glad I got lucky and found a great company.
If you are looking for a company that not only wants to complete jobs, but also complete a job that you deserve, All America Roofing and Restoration is the way to go. They take time and patience to explain things, and value your input as their client and always make sure to communicate with you before moving forward. read more
