We decided it was time for a new roof and gutters. We asked a couple of our neighbors who had recently had their roofs done and everyone seemed pretty displeased with their experiences. It was a little disheartening. I decided it was especially important to know what to ask and look for in roofing by doing a little online research. We called a couple of companies we found on Angie's List. Comparing prices, experiences and materials on such a project seemed especially important. Plus it's really sort of interesting to see what different roof people tell you about your roof. As a roof novice, I learned things. Ultimately, we ended with Titan Siding and Roofing. They were quick to answer a call, quick to make an appointment to do the initial inspection and when Brian Boroff, director of sales, came to our home, he was quite personable and professional. Nothing was high pressure. He thoroughly discussed every detail of our roof with us. What was needed, what wouldn't be. How it worked. He encouraged us to consider our options. He told us about his dog. There were many shingle colors to choose from. And the gutter colors are pretty much endless. I was mildly surprised to find that some roof colors are "trending" right now. He told us they scheduled out a couple of weeks ahead but it does vary. Weather, other jobs, people do get sick. If you hire them, don't get mad if I said two weeks and it turns out to be three or even four! They have their own crews. His company has a really nice story. I won't ruin it. If you want a roof or siding, call them up. I'm sure he'd be pleased to tell you. The process was really easy. The guys came to put on the roof ridiculously early. (They showed up at 6:45 and started at 7.) It was completed in around four hours. Maybe five. We do have a small roof so, again, results may vary. It wasn't as loud as I thought it would be. My little dog didn't even freak out. The company has a magnet they wave around to pick up the nails and things. It was all quite clean. I found 2 nails and a tiny bit of my roof. I'm keeping the roof like a piece of scrap book. There was no dust or damage to anything. It was like they were never here once they were gone. Aside from there being a new roof. The gutters coming off and new going on was fast and efficient, too. Really, the whole thing was about a million times easier than we thought it could ever be. And it looks fantastic.

Instead of finishing the job, Quincey Barrett ripped out the old doors, left the home in shambles, and vanished with the money. The house is now in a far worse state than when it started--it is unsecured, unfinished, and $25,000 has been stolen. This is not a "bad contractor" experience; this is professional fraud and property abandonment. URGENT CALL TO ACTION: If you have also been a victim of Quincey Barrett, do not wait. Go to your local police station and file a report for construction fraud and theft by deception. We are working with the authorities to ensure there is a paper trail for this criminal behavior. You should also report them to the State Licensing Board immediately. Save your family the trauma and the money--stay as far away from Quincey Barrett as possible.

NOTE: ALL OF THE FOLLOWING IS DOCUMENTED through text…read moremessages, phone calls, photographs, home inspections, signed contracts, and additional records. Recent reviews accurately reflect the fraudulent conduct of CPR. The company, owned and operated by Quincy Barrett (CEO) and Brandy Barrett (CFO), misrepresents services and caused us and other clients to lose thousands of dollars. CPR engages in repeated deception, creating a pattern of inconsistent and false statements. Communication is routinely delayed or nonexistent. Quincy Barrett goes silent for days and weeks at a time when updates are requested regarding the contracted project. Signed contracts are breached, and "lifetime warranties" become void when Quincy Barrett fails to meet contractual obligations. Quincy leaves before projects are completed or even begun. The project that was said would take two weeks to be completed did not even begin until 5 months later. The funniest yet is that the project remains unfinished one year and one day after the contract was signed on 12/12/24. CPR provides proof of current insurance coverage and then knowingly cancels the policy prior to the start of the project. When asked about insurance coverage for multiple property damages and a homeowner's bodily injury caused by materials left in the yard, CPR provided evasive responses and no resolution. The homeowner is instructed to cover the damages out of pocket with the promise of reimbursement, RIGHT... Documented damages include the central AC unit, windows and screens, security cameras, all landscape lighting, and most of the landscaping. Quincy Barrett pressures homeowners to authorize loan disbursements using false statements. When contacted by the loan company, he falsely stated that only one piece of siding remained to be installed for completion. CPR abandons a gutter, roofing, and siding project in an unfinished and unsafe condition, compromising the integrity of the home. The most documented deficiencies include gutters installed incorrectly, large sections of siding not installed, siding was installed on half of the porch ceiling instead of soffit, missing water barriers on exposed areas, no insulation in open sections of the home, an unfinished roof, multiple electrical outlets left exposed to the elements, and open gaps in the siding that have allowed vermin enter a previously sealed home now. Due to Quincy Barrett's failure to properly oversee the project in his role as project manager, custom window framing was not installed and may not have even been ordered. Security camera footage showed Quincy Barrett personally managing approximately one hour of the exterior project, which consisted primarily of walking the property and unloading supplies. A refund for the nonexistent custom window framing was eventually issued. However, CPR initially failed to provide the refund due to insufficient funds from the company account. Quincy Barrett claims the account was impacted by fraud. The refund was ultimately issued only after a cashier's check was demanded. Following the submission of the first review, and only review until today, 12/13/25, a 2:00 AM text message was received containing a screenshot of the review and a threatening message. The nature of the threat, whether physical or legal, is unclear. A request for clarification received no response. Responses provided by CPR now will consistently satisfy their claims, regardless of factual documentation. The conduct of Quincy and Brandy Barrett demonstrates a pattern of misrepresentation, nonperformance, and intimidation.

Their quote was competitive, and while they're not the cheapest option out there, they use top-quality products. My roof actually ended up as an upgrade from what I had before. From the first call to the final cleanup, everything was easy. Timely estimate, great communication, and a crew that was both friendly and efficient. I have a large roof, and they showed up early, knocked the whole job out in a single day, and cleaned up so thoroughly that my landscaping might have actually looked a little better after they left. Whether you need roofing, gutters, or siding, I can't recommend E.M.A. Construction highly enough. As long as they're in business, I won't be calling anyone else.

I wanted to replace it with similar siding because it seemed to be very durable. Replacement was necessary because the original siding was improperly installed and the planks were falling off the house. I repeatedly had planks replaced and paint never matched original siding properly. So I chose to replace the entire siding. My research identified James Hardie as an excellent siding; and it seems quite durable, has a decent warranty, and looks nice. I chose EMA Construction to install because of their long term experience with James Hardie siding, and previous customer reviews. So I am confident I have a good product that was properly installed. Eddie provided the estimate and stayed in contact with me during the project. The installer team was excellent. They commenced work as expected and completed on schedule.. in spite of several rainy days. One area of the house required custom cutting of the planks lengthwise and at a slight angle. The team did an excellent job custom fitting the siding to this area. The total install, including flashing, caulking, and siding fit are all excellent. Total results and cleanup was also perfect. The install team (Nico, Blake and Eric) was professional and friendly and explained what they were doing throughout. I would hire them again should the occasion arise.
