These guys are scammers, and unfortunately, I fell for it. A guy named Rico called to tell me that there was a problem with my system and that, if not addressed urgently, this would cancel my warranty. I thought that this was a bit odd, because my app told me the system was fine. Still, since it might need fixing, I agreed to a technician coming to my home. A full inspection, repair and panel cleaning were promised by Rico. When the technician came, after a 5-10 minute visit to the roof, the technician told my wife that nothing was wrong, and that only a single panel needed cleaning, so he knocked some leaves off with his foot. For this, I was charged $1260. This is pretty sad. When the solar was installed several years ago, the company was professional and competent. Not any more. Avoid these people like the plague. read more

I was referred to AAS when my company went belly up. No reason to be nervous, they were awesome. Matt and I had an interesting first conversation for retail and customer and after a good laugh we made an appt. Matt sent Logan to replace an inverter so all my panels were at prime output. Completely sloppy work, everything must be paid in advance but then they don't communicate when have to remove defects or complete the work. The panels are not placed according to the project, electrical materials were used that violate the Florida building code. Incredibly overpriced, but works. On the back end, though... I've been harassed constantly by Richard Baster, who constantly tries to get me to spend even more money with them. I have asked him to stop contacting me 5x JUST TODAY and he keeps sending me stuff pretending like he's "complying" with my request to stop contacting me, but he keeps contacting me over and over. He will not stop. This man needs to be fired. He's evil, vindictive and is just trying to cause me frustration, on purpose. I have told him in writing "Cease, Desist, do not contact me." but he won't stop. I'm about to go to the police. read more

When the solar panels were sold to me, we were told that there was a warranty for 20-30 years depending on the issue. We were also told that they actively monitor all panels for all their customers and if there was ever an issue, they would likely know before us and be in contact to arrange fixing the issue. I have all documents provided in paper and via email regarding our panel installation and I was never provided with anything regarding the warranty details. Several of our panels stopped working ONE YEAR ago according to our energy reports on the Enlighten/Enphase website. I inquired today about getting them fixed because our electric bill last month was over $200 & it's never been that high. A man called me back to discuss and told me there would be a trip fee of $450 just to diagnose the issue. I asked about why I was never notified a trip fee would be involved in warranty work and also why they didn't notify me when there was an issue with my panels a year ago. He LAUGHED at me and said their system says the panels stopped reporting two days ago (which I can clearly confirm is inaccurate because of the energy reports I just downloaded). He also stated several times that he was confused about why I was upset. I told him several times that it was due to them not disclosing the warranty details and a trip charge when I was sold the panels. Nor was any warranty documentation given to me that disclosed labor not being covered. Nor were warranty options provided to me for "extended warranties" that might cover labor. He again laughed and said they don't have warranty options and that he's still confused. I asked him to let me speak with someone less confused than him and he said someone will have to call me back because the only other person there was on the phone. I likely won't get a call back which is why I'm making this post. The panels have been great up until the warranty needing to be used and All American customer support just doesn't seem to care at all. read more

Spent hours entertaining different companies and finally went with All American Solar, what a mistake at this point. We just had a new metal roof installed on our home prior to panels being installed and informed them half a dozen times and they assured us they do it all the time. Well after 4 failed attempts to get engineering right with county it should have been a sign that this was not a professional company. Install day came and right out the gate they place their ladders up against the metal roof and their bigger installer bends and actually terrors the metal. End up having to replace the entire panel before we can even get started. Then after I do my own research on the installation system they used/engineered was not correct they wont return calls or emails. Looks like we will have to hire a blood sucker, lawyer, to get this corrected. Pick another copy and do your self a favor. read more

All American Solar Rocks! I was scammed by another solar company that went bankrupt after a class action suit against them. I tried numerous solar companies to enable monitoring for mys system, none would touch it as they did not do the installation. I called All American Solar first speaking to Libby in the service Department and later to Steve, one of the owners, and after a conversation, and providing him with details of the equipment I have, he agreed to come out. He did so with a tech named Cole. They thought they had the parts needed but since my scammed inverter was an old one, it did not have WIFI. What was needed was a line from my inverter going into my garage to a WIFI extender. Cole came out the next week to complete the job. I now have monitoring of how much my system is producing! It was not an easy task for All American as they do not use the equipment the scammers installed. They needed to contact the customer service department of the manufacturer of my inverter. In spite of the difficulty, they did a great job. read more

I would just skip solar altogether, no point, no savings, just a hassle overall. Company is "nice enough" but they will pressure you into getting just enough panels to equal what you are currently paying for your power bill which is their pitch, until you realize you didn't get nearly enough panels to actually cover your load, then you still have to pay the power company... so if you want to pay two bills, go for it. Also your homeowners insurance will go up. If you complain customer service will tell you to start using power during the day, not helpful advice for those at work...in Florida you will be running your air all night so think that over. read more

I had the pleasure of meeting Colby Barth; a technician with this company today. My system was installed by Code Green that went out of business after the FBI raided their New Jersey office and I needed to find a GOOD Solar company to take over my solar. I called All American and they sent out Colby. He was professional and highly competent. He was able to get my cellular modem talking to Solar Edge and get my monitoring platform up and running. The product was ok. You won't start seeing the savings until you pay the loan off. Brandon Bing is a typical sales man. He will pressure you in getting a ridicules loan at a high rate. The first year of the loan the rate is low until the 13th month of the loan. This is how this company makes their money. they get a kick back from selling high interest loans not selling solar panels. I would not recommend All American Solar (Brandon Bing). Shop around , I am sure you can find a good deal on solar panels. Also, try to finance with a bank not the sales man. read more

Had read up on solar panels in Consumer Report Mag and had gotten several estimates on solar panels. This company was the only one who suggested solar hot water heater. Do suggest you to have 12 months of past electric bills so they'll have an idea of your total past usage. I got 4 different estimates, get something in writing of a guarantee of meeting your yearly consumption! An update a year later 10/2018 the new pool pump, solar hot water heater, and solar panels aren't canceling out my consumption from my utility company. When I raised my concern I was informed by them I needed to purchase 8 more solar panels! Another update 2/20, my 2 year warranty is up I now have to pay them for a service call, $100 to come out. From start to finish this company completed my install in about three weeks. The install crew was fast, clean, and efficient. The sales team made sure to answer all of my questions in a timely manner. Jon Round was the salesman on my job and went above and beyond his job description to make sure everything went smoothly. I've had my 10k system since December 19th 2018 and I'm impressed with it's production. My Previous bill before solar was $594 and my first bill after is $236. Extremely happy with my results so far. I've personally validated all warranty claims and that this company is an authorized dealer of the products they sell. Make sure to register you dual warranty within the first 60 days from install. The new enphase app for monitoring allows you to see your production and consumption rates from your phone.
