Very disappointed with this estate liquidator. The auction manager I dealt with was Michael Esteves. Their listings have almost no useful descriptions - just "as-is" disclaimers with little to no real condition details. I tried texting/calling/emailing with simple questions about an item and got zero response for like a week. I also accidentally placed a bid, then realized the condition was worse than it looked, and they completely ghosted my request to cancel. I honestly don't understand how estates can trust them to liquidate valuable items when they won't communicate and won't properly describe what they're selling. No other estate auction company I've dealt with operates this way, most provide clear, detailed descriptions and condition notes. It's also no surprise their auctions have very low bidding activity and they keep extending the deadline. On top of that, their 19% buyer's premium is ridiculous. Most reputable companies charge 18%, and at least they provide solid descriptions and properly represent items. This company doesn't even do the basics, yet expects people to pay more. The extra 1% barely makes a difference for them financially, but it says a lot about how cheap and poorly run this operation is. I would not recommend their service, and bidders should be extremely careful. read more

I attended a sale run by this company. I thought I'd go out and have some fun and find a few cool things to maybe turn around and sell or just something nice to keep for myself. While I was there, the guy running it, asked me "if you don't mind me asking, what are you doing here at your age?" I was so taken aback I didn't know how to respond. It was just so rude and unexpected. I told him I enjoy going to sales and finding deals. It really bothered me for days and I just couldn't believe the audacity of that young man. I mean I'm a customer of his company! I decided to not go to any other estate sales run by All American Tag Sales. read more

Mike and his team were increible in partnering with me on my late Mother's house. They completely handled an estate sale, online auction and total house clean up. They were reliable and respectful. I can't recommend them enough. read more

I won an item through them on an online auction. After winning the item I went to pick it up and was told by the manager that they could not find my item and would ship it to me and provided my contact information for them to follow up. I heard nothing from them that week and when I followed up twice I received no response. I then received a refund for the item but that is not what I wanted nor did it make up for the time wasted. I had driven one hour round trip to their warehouse in a snow storm to get this item particularly because I received an email from them stating that if I did not pick up the item my account would be cancelled. At best this is sloppy and unfair business, at worst this is a shady move to keep an item that was sold for below value. read more

I've participated in 2 online All American Tag Sales and I highly recommend this group. Michael is not only pleasant to deal with but very helpful when it comes to picking up your items. I am an avid Estate Sale shopper and have been for several years. This is by far one of the worst companies I have dealt with. I have attended a few of their sales and have found Michael, the owner, to be an aloof and disinterested estate sale company owner. He typically is standing around doing nothing or is off somewhere on his cell phone. When he is approached, he barks out a response as the price of an item, for eg., and makes no attempt whatsoever to engage the potential buyer. His employees are equally unfriendly and rude. Honestly, I don't know why he is in the business. And my view is not unique. When I attend other tag sales and speak with the other regulars, they share the same sentiments. Another point to note is that Michael's sales are frequently extended an additional day or so which is indicative of his lack of ability to negotiate and effectively run a good sale. Please do not use this company for your home sales. I can recommend many others, i.e. Diamond Tag Sales, Mona's Tag Sales, Full of Surprizes, Treasurer Tag Sales where you will deal with polite professionals with knowledge and proven track records. read more

I met Michael, the owner of All American Tag Sales about 9 years ago during one of my tag sales experience. Just the other day, I wanted new furniture for my house so I searched for all American Tag Sales. I went to a sale in Cold Spring Harbor and met Michael again. There was no line outside because I hate to stand on line. Inside was super busy. Everything was for sale. I found couple of interesting things. Then, I saw a sectional sofa. Love the color. Nice leather. Look pretty new. Michael gave me an offer that I couldn't refused. He also helped me making arrangement for a moving company to move the item to my house. I got my "new" furniture by 4pm. Love the whole tag sale experience!!! I will go to all his sale now. read more

These guys are consistently rude to their customers, they over price and berate their customers when they try to haggle. Many ppl who frequent estate sales do so for bargains, and a good seller knows how to haggle back without throwing a tantrum-these guys don't. I've seen them treat ppl super rudely as well as been the subject of their disdain. This reputation they've built results in low sales which has been evident in their last day sales- i've seen remarkable things priced so ridiculously high that they didn't sell and ended up being very cheap in their resulting last minute panic to complete the sale. I started shopping at tag sales for a better guitar than the one I have. I am a CPA and play guitar as a hobby. I attended a tag sale the weekend of March 2, 2019 in Garden City handled by All American Tag Sales. The lead guy, Mike, was dealing with a huge house and many shoppers. These shoppers were looking and asking for the same deep discounted bargains that all tag sale shoppers are looking for. Mike kept his cool, stayed respectful, and answered all questions. His prices were knowledgeable, although possibly a little high the first day, but reasonable the next day. In addition, the other people working for All American Tag Sales were polite and helpful. All in all, a good experience dealing with Mike and All American Tag Sales. Conversely, the first sale I went to was run by a different, unrelated company, New York Tag Sales (NYTS). The guy who was in charge of determining prices and negotiating for New York Tag Sales (NYTS) was foul mouthed, incredibly condescending and embarrassingly disrespectful. read more
