Waste of money. They do not show on time. They spent maybe 15 minute when the got here for $119. The next time they call my wife and apologize. They offer to do the next cleaning for free. They show up and still send us a bill. My wife calls them and they say disregard yet the bills comes every month plus interest. Pat's Gutter Service is now called All Around Gutters. We WERE loyal customers with an ongoing contact for gutter cleaning. We had them out a few weeks ago to do our gutters. While cleaning our gutters, their workers chipped paint off of our house. We just had our house painted to put it on the market. I left a voice mail to let them know what had happened. I didn't receive a return phone call after a few days, so I called again. This time I spoke with the owner, Pat. I told him what happened. He asked that I send a photo and offered to send one of his guys out to take a look. I sent the photo via email and never heard back. Called YET AGAIN, left a message, and to this day--about a week or so later--I haven't received a phone call. We paid for the service the day of and now I'm wishing we didn't, as perhaps we'd have some leverage to get them back out to fix what they ruined. read more

Regarding the company "All Around Gutter Services Inc", Possibly a decent company for gutter cleaning but nothing more. We were extremely dissatisfied when we received a bogus gutter inspection for which they recommended $3k worth of "gutter repairs". We paid for all the work recommended to now turn around 1 week later and need a complete replacement of all our gutters. read more

Zero stars. Very dishonest. They don't give you an exact date when they will come. When they quote a price they do not inform you that if they have to unclog the gutters there willl be an additional charge. They also don't tell you that they charge to haul the trash away. Each time they come they claim the gutter elbows are clogged so they can add that to your bill. The customer ALWAYS pays more than their "base price". The work is hard to assess since they typically come when you are not home. Stay away from this dishonest company. read more

They left a few messages to schedule when I did not Call back they just showed up and started cleaning the gutters. OK . I paid them. After they left I noticed they bagged and left the debris. OK Then I let my dogs out they escaped my fenced yard, because the worker does not have the courtesy or brains to close the gate. I will not use them again. read more

This is not a joke, just submitted a review to BBB... I received a call last week to ask if I needed my gutters cleaned by All Around Gutters, previously Pat's Gutter Service. When I asked about price the receptionist calling said she would call back with an estimate. She didn't call back but a few days later Pat knocked on my door unannounced (last evening). He was clean cut and seemingly harmless so I let him through the gate on the side yard. He very quickly moved negotiation of price to include my going out on a date with him. The price was "40 and 54 so... $70". He was very quick, direct, and comfortable in conversation. I did not give an answer. The next morning his receptionist called to say the quote he gave was a base price and there would be an addition charge of $1.25/minute for cleaning any debris on the roof and $10/downspout if he found they were blocked when he got up there but it would just depend on what he found (no mention that he'd seen my roof the prior evening). He spoke in the background to say that only happened for 15% of customers. I declined their business. This violates an unspoken code of ethical business practice in that exchanging business services for dollars should be one's only expectation in this country especially after inviting a person onto their property with that expectation in mind. read more

Bad experience all around. Never communicated when work would be done. I called to ask when work would be done and they never called back to tell me the work had in fact been done. How would I know since the gutters were still overflowing? After I complained they came back and replaced a board (which they stated in the original contract they would do if needed). Again no call before showing up but I knew they had been there as patio furniture was moved, flowers crushed and roofing nails on my porch and steps. Oh and of course the new leak in the upstairs ceiling. They are prompt however in calling and asking for payment. read more

This company had to come out 3 times to try to get it right and its still not right. The project was 3 gutters and 3 down spouts gutters 2 10 feet and 1 3 feet not rocket science, the first attempt had 2 downspouts in one of the 10 foot gutters and the 3 footer dumping into the neighbors gutter, the crew foreman stated the owner Pat had drawn up the design like they installed it, showed me the design that Pat had drawn, he had one down spout angled off the over hang at a 45 degree until it hit the wall some 6 feet later, the other downspout had more curves and bends then a sidewinder snake. unreal. Pat then showed up at 6:00PM (dark) to inspect the work, seemed to have trouble standing and focusing, got upset with me telling about how bad of a job was done and how poor the design was (even the foreman stated how poor the design was) he then walked out yelling at me in front on my wife, only to return 10 mins later telling me he was sorry and he would make it right, well its not right by any stretch; water backs up in 2 gutters on the end with no downspout, downspout clamps are lose and falling off, the spray paint job in the cuffs, downspout seams and many other spots are full of paint runs, there are dozens of scratches in both the gutters and downspouts. We are having the botched job redone when we have new siding put on the house, we have hired 7 contractors in the past 6 months no issues only All around gutters is formally Pat's Gutters I would search the names, we found dozens of one star reviews and only 2 3-4 stars. read more

Will and Chris came over to clear my gutters, they were very polite and friendly. Instead of using their own equipment as they said they would, they used my hose. After they left, I noticed they neglected to return the hose the way found it, neatly reeled up! IN fact they left the entire 20+' of hose draped over my bushes & on the ground. I immediately called and spoke to someone in the office. She contacted Will who said they would return the same day to put the hose back. Needless to say....no one showed up or called. I have placed several calls and left multiple messages, without a response. I am a senior citizen and physically unable to return the hose to its original location. when my daughter came over she found that they also left the water RUNNING! read more

I wanted to send in a very strong review for All Around Gutters. We were a client when they were Pat's Gutters and we just got back in touch to have a gutter replaced that had been hit by a tree limb. It looks like they might have had some transition issues previously, based on other reviews, but they came out to West Towson and gave a reasonable quote to replace and upgrade that gutter and other older gutters. Pat himself spent time with us. When there was a follow-up issue of trimming one of the gutters in the front, they came right out and fixed. The lead man on the project was hard-working, genial and professional. We found the whole process attentive, thoughtful, and well-done. Thanks, Pat! read more

I guess it's not possible to give less than one star so that's what I gave them. My experience with this company was TERRIBLE!!!! I am contemplating using legal action against them. The entire story is too long to post but I just recently had the company back out to fix the pitch of the gutters....the gutters were installed completely level so rain water was never channeled to the down spouts. The water just sits there. When an estimator came out to my house, there must not have been a memo saying this was the work of his company. After completely bashing the work of the contractor who installed the gutters and giving me an $1100 estimate to fix the mistakes, I explained to him that it was his company that did the work. Terrible experience. Hired them to install one gutter. Fellow arrived and took measurements. Within a week or so the crew arrived and installed a gutter but not additional support material I requested. Real problem was gutter was obvously too short. Said they would come back and install support material and gutter. Within week or so returned and installed support material and gutter which again was obviously too short. Contacted office and Pat Smyth sent 2 or 3 emails over several week period. In the emails Mr Smyth stated it was my fault the gutter was too short. I responded that I didn't measure, make suggestions or requests. He also stated I had changed to scope of work. I reminded him order was for one gutter and nothing has changed. Mr Smyth stated the only solution was for me to pay balance of bill and then he and I would create another contract which I would pay for and this would somehow allow him to do the job correctly. Told him to come to house and see situation for himself. He arrived and agreed with me. A gutter with correct length was installed but process took 7 weeks which prevented me from doing other work during that time. read more

I set up an appointment for an estimate; waited 2 weeks. No one showed up for the appointment. I called and they said "Dan is on the way. He will call you". Again no one showed up, no one called. I called again after 3 hours waiting. "Dan was here a little while ago, I will have him call you" No call. Very frustrating. If they cant show for a scheduled appointment to give me an estimate, imagine how well the work would go. read more

Pat's Gutter Service now called All Around Gutters came to our house to do a gutter repair. I will never use this company again. We contracted them to remove an old gutter and downspout and replace it with a wider gutter for $390, which we thought was high, but the worst was yet to come. We had a gutter guard on the old gutter and they were told, verbally and in writing, that they needed to replace the gutter guard. When they showed up to do the work, the workers had no idea the gutter guard was to be replaced. When I told them that this was part of the work, they said, "Oh. ok we'll take care of it." They proceeded to do the work, including the replacement of the gutter guard. They didn't finish that day and said they would be back the next day to finish the work. The next day Pat of All Around Gutters informed us that the gutter guard, which is a mesh covering to the gutter would be an additional $494 to replace!!!! He wanted more than the whole job cost to replace a 20 ft. section of gutter guard. I told him I would not pay that amount and the workers were to put the old gutter guard back on. He said they could not put the old gutter guard back on because it had been damaged by the worker taking down the old gutter. We talked about the price and he agreed to do the new gutter guard for $240. I still thought this was way too much $$$, but agreed to the price. He said he'd be out the next day to do the work. Two days went by with numerous phone calls to the office, including to Pat, with no response. I finally got hold of Pat and he informed me that he wasn't going to put in the new gutter guard because he was no longer "comfortable" with the price of $240. He would do it for $300. I told him I was done and he could forget about doing the work. He said he could put back on the old gutter guard. I reminded him he said it was damaged and could not be done. He said he was mistaken and it was not damaged and could put on the the old gutter!!!! Those reading this review can draw their own conclusions. I feel I was I was mislead by Pat, and the company tried to get money out of me unnecessarily. I particularly was incensed with: 1. Trying to charge me $494 additional to replace a 20ft section of gutter guard. 2. Saying he would do the job for $240, then backing out of that and trying to charge me $300. 3. Misinforming me about the old gutter guard, Telling me it was damaged and couldn't be used. 4. Workers showing up at the house not knowing the totality of the job they were to complete. Needless to say I, will never use this company again. read more

I called them about 2 and a half months ago for a gutter cleaning and they said they would be out in a week to view the home and give me an estimate. After about 10 days passed I called and asked what the estimate was and when they could come clean our gutters. They had no record of my prior call but said they would check it that day. Initially they redeemed themselves as they called me that afternoon with an estimate and said they could come out to do the cleaning the following Thursday or Friday. After they didn't show I called on Tuesday to see what the deal was and somehow again they had no record of me in their system and I told them the original estimate, thought for sure I would be input properly in the system this time, but that didn't happen. After being told again for the following Thursday or Friday and another no show I called on the following week again, this time angry and going to cancel but they actually had a record of me in their system and at this point I just wanted to get it over with so I made the mistake of setting another appointment. They managed to no show for an amazing 4th time and they had no excuse for any no show or even offered a complimentary cleaning or at least a discount. I have never written a review on anything in my life but I thought this was such a poor display of customer service I couldn't resist. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for gutter cleaning services. read more
