When I went into the showroom again, he had several samples picked out in my color range. He did not try to sell me the most expensive carpet or padding, but recommended a very nice quality. About three weeks later, it was installed. The two men who did the install were on time, very polite and respectful of my home. They did a fabulous job. I asked about underlayment and moisture barrier and Mike said they could lay tar paper. Jesse came to home he did measurements, we walked the floor, and I stated the direction(s) I would like the floor laid. Jesse subsequently sent me an estimate to sign and return so work could start. I needed more time for the money and a few months later we reconnected with modifications to the original estimate eliminating the moldings. All was fine so far. He then seemed concerned and wanted his installer to come out. The installer came out, Jesse was late, and the installer stated that plywood would need to be laid over my current hardwood floors before he would install and that the floor could not be installed in the direction(s) I previously outlined. Jesse finally arrived and I heard him, and the installer talk outside then they came inside, once again the installer doubled down. I clearly stated that I thought upselling was being done on the 11th hour. Jesse said "we don't have any of your money". He then said he did not hear anything about the tar paper. He was leaving and said he would discuss with Mike and get back with me. After a few days, I sent Jesse a text, no answer - the same for the next 5 days. It appears I have been ghosted by this company that obviously made a mistake and is not interested in working it out or my business. BEWARE OF BEING GHOSTED AND UPSELLING.

I called them in advance and told them about a burn mark and damaged fringe. They asked me to send pics, which I did, then they told me to bring it in for evaluation. I took it there and they quoted $135 with a special. When I picked it up, it was $195 and they could not fix the burn but they neglected to tell me that beforehand. I carried the rug in and had to wait awhile to be acknowledged so that wasn't a good start. The store looked to be a beautiful showroom with tons of beautiful rugs on display. A guy finally came over and offered to measure the rug for me. While he was doing that the manager approached so I explained that I needed the rug cleaned, but wanted an estimate because if the cost of cleaning was more than the value of the rug, I wouldn't have it cleaned. He totaled the cost according to the measurements and quoted me a number. I responded that I would just wait since the rug was less expensive than the cost to clean it. He then turned away from me, said, "Roll it up for her" to the worker and walked away. I yelled a thank you at him even though he was so rude. I think now even if I need a rug cleaned in the future, I will go somewhere else.
