Steve came to my house the other day to do some work in my kitchen. These new fangled dishwashers....you Need to get a collage degree to operate the darn thing. He installed it and explained how to operate it. Awesome guy. He built me custom cabinets to flow with my new dishwasher because where I wanted it, my kitchen wouldn't allow for it. So he hooked me up n I can't be more excited about it. He didn't cut corners, he was honest n got it done right. A little pricey but I got what I paid for. Custom. I knew it was going to be pricey. Great service! I called on Weds to see about getting a quote for hanging a huge storage rack in the garage and fixing a dryer duct. Steve was able to send two people the next day. It turns out the dryer duct was fine so I gave them another small job to go with hanging the storage rack. Of course something always has to go wrong and in my case they hit metal when going into my garage ceiling. Being fearful of why there was metal at that specific spot in the ceiling, they proceeded very cautiously. I authorized them to cut an inspection hole in the ceiling to see what it was. Come to find out it was a steel beam! Well, now that they knew what it was, there was no issue completing the job and doing an excellent job patching the inspection hole as well. Well done! Perhaps not the cheapest guys in town but you get what you pay for and I will definitely use them again. read more

I had a front door with transome and side lights replaced. It was a big job and the door was smaller than the original. After finding the smaller replacement door at an absolute steal, I was in contact with Steve and he was very good about getting back to me answer questions about the door. They were able to really trim out the door to fit the larger opening. I was absolutely impressed with the skills and the pricing. They were able to complete the job in two days. The door was sealed and installed day one, they just needed to return to complete the trim work to make it pretty. The original door was badly decayed and rotten. Then when you do call him out he has the audacity to say well we don't have a quote with you. Or we haven't had an appointment. Seems to me you need to get your business senses right that when a customer calls you set an appointment, you go to their house, and you quote accordingly. Don't give someone a ballpark figure then change the price?? Don't..it's not good business. So instead of trolling YELP all day wondering what or what isn't written about you, how bout following up on customers that actually called you. And if you really need to brush up on people and business skills I'm sure their are some community colleges offering classes in summer. read more

There should of never been a situation to rectify. Quote is a quote. Not my problem you didn't ask questions or looked at the job before you shot a price off the hip. I really don't like the fact you tried to take advantage of my senior citizen mother. You didn't even bother to see what you were dealing with before you started worrying about your time and jacking up the price up over $50 more than you quoted. Couldn't imagine how much higher it would have been once you got here. After she told me what you did I realized you're a scam artist. This guy wasn't interested in standing by his quote until he got a bad review. Even still took a few days after that. Very unprofessional and your response on here is a week overdue from when you tried to take back the messed up situation you created. Again not my problem and I really don't appreciate you throwing me under the bus. I would have been a very good paying customer with other jobs and recommendations. These guys were awesome. I originally called Steve to help us re-install cabinets, but he ended up helping with a lot more in our kitchen: they installed tile (hands down better than our original tile installers), they installed wainscoting; helped install our dishwasher and sink, they did our butcher block counters; the did base boards; the built us a wall--all of it was fantastic. Mike worked with Steve, and he was here most of the time--both of them do excellent work. In addition, Steve really worked with us on price, and he was highly committed to getting the job done right. He stopped over many times, worked around wonky schedules --highly responsive; he's an all around great guy, and a perfect option for those jobs that need creativity with no short cuts. I would never recommend appliances to go in hartly delaware on rt 8. They delivered a refrigerator that had no door rails. Had no drawers that would open they had no hardware so they fall out on floor every time u open one. My husband was upset. So they told me they would not order the parts so im unable to use the fridge. Im a dialysis patient and cant bend real well. Plus the fridge foesnt get real cold.
