Although this is a bar, they also do breakfast which is what I am going to review them on. I arrived at about 9am and it was quite empty which was nice. The breakfast menu is great! Eggs Benedict, Eggs Florentine etc I ended up having a mushroom and pepper fritatta with baked beans and orange juice. It was delicious! The orange juice wasn't fantastic but the food was great. The cost came to about £10, which is quite expensive for eggs and beans lol but this isn't a greasy spoon. The bar is in a great location. read more

I recently visited this All Bar One to meet some friends before rockin' on over to Guanabara and was pleasantly surprised! I hadn't been to an AB1 in a few years and didn't really have any expectations. It was surprisingly quiet for a bank holiday Friday evening and we had some tables reserved for the large party of us meeting. Typically, I had not given myself time to eat dinner before leaving the house (don't tell my mum!) so after a few glasses of vino I decided I had better order some food. I ordered some bits and pieces for everyone to share and wasn't really looking at prices so was delighted that I was charged just under £40 for a bottle of Pinot Grigio, a baked camembert with toasted bread and roasted onion parcels, pan-fried chorizo with baby potatoes, salt and pepper crispy calamari, and pan fried tiger prawns with crispy prosciutto in lime and chilli oil. Everything was delicious and there was plenty of it. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we stayed for a few more bottles before hitting the dancenfloor in Guanabara. Had a great experience here getting a late night drink. Fabulous £5 cocktail list. I highly recommend the lemon gingertini. Bar tenders were nice and very attentive. Not a bad place to spend some evening time with friends or when traveling solo. read more

Nothing special here. We stopped over for a quick, late breakfast. The food was "meh" - the full english breakfast was OK, yet a bit overpriced and a bit carelessly thrown on the plate. The yoghurt with granola and fruit was better. Service was fine, alas, it's a restaurant chain , so don't expect anything out of the ordinary here. read more

Found it on the way back to the tube from the London Eye. Food was good, not great. I'm small plates kind of person so I like the variety of the menu and got to taste a little of a variety of foods. Interesting set up. We weren't sure if we had to wait to be seated or seat ourselves. Service wasn't great but I've had worse. Good food for the value. read more

What a shame! I was looking forward to breakfast and catch up this morning with a friend ! We were there at 8 on the dot and sat down. Waitress asked what we fancied straight away and having already looked at the menu we both ordered our hot drinks and huevos rancheros. Unfortunately the chef had not arrived but she said he would be 10 minutes max. We got our drinks - I ordered a flat white but it was really weak and looked a bit like dirty dish water. After 15 minutes she said she wasn't sure where he was and unfortunately we wouldn't be able to have breakfast. She kindly didn't charge us for our drinks Although waitress was nice and apologetic a 1* for not being able to order any food and a rubbish coffee! read more

A very small outlet by All Bar One standards. The layout is as familiar as morning breath though. The usual tables, the usual wine display behind the bar and the overpriced lagers on their bar. To their credit they do have some interesting beers. As well as a couple of real ales, they stock Rothaus Wheat beer and a favourite of mine Sierra Nevada pale ale. Now if only I could take it somewhere else to drink it. Just down from Holborn station. read more

Was dying for a bar with a television to watch the F1 race, and this was my last stop after 4 failed attempts. This was the 5th consecutive let down, but it was nearly 2pm, so had to eat something. Food was alright, but both the Chicken Sandwich and the 'slaw were caked in Mayo. Way too much for my liking. My meal came with salsa, and I nor my dining guest knew what it was for. The fries were a little wimpy to boot. Services was pretty good considering the London Marathon and everyone was dressed like a smurf. I wasn't sure why, but hey, why not. I wouldn't avoid it, but I'm not sure I'd seek it out for a second go. Fine, but something better's probably right around the corner. read more

After walking what seemed forever around the city, we walked past the "All Bar One" Kingsway Holborn London, looking inside was so inviting we decided to visit. First we found this venue so elegant and relaxing, we settled back into comfortable table seating and ordered drinks and coffee. The service was friendly and helpful, the drinks we ordered from alcoholic through to coffees were dispensed with out any delay. The coffee was very good, served with a small glass of chocolate sweets, a very nice touch. We checked the menu, found some plates we would like to try, so we will return. Good call. read more

Terrible. The service was awful, the coffee was made with the grinds still in and the food was not cooked properly. While breakfast isn't the best meal of the day to try a place out, you still expect some decent service. Some of our food was never brought, we had to harass the waitress to get out food to begin with and we were all three disgusted with it. Don't eat here. Spend 2 3 minutes and walk somewhere else. read more

It has a wide range of wine and the price is clearly presented to help you make a decision quicker, thanks for that because I can sense the impatience of bar staff. It's quite expensive too. I quite like the mood and tone, it's perfect for a quiet conversation and still good for a groupie night out. Well, some (or most) seats are not comfortable though....high stools are not a good idea after few drinks. It's ok for a visit but not a name in my top list. read more

Just like any other branch of All Bar One, you'll be getting slightly more expensive than average drinks with a slightly modern chic decor under a very noisy atmosphere when its 7pm+. But with that said, it isn't exactly bad. Food is reasonable, but nothing great - just what you'd expect from a normal pub. The selection of drinks is also as per the usual, but again this isn't something pubs compete about. If you just need a place to talk or chill out with your friends, and you happen to be near the Holborn tube station, this is a place you can go - though my preference in this area would be for the Pitcher & Piano nearby. read more

As a bar, I think it's great. I had no idea that this is a chain, but then again, what isn't in London? This All Bar One was located at the corner of my hotel so I passed by it everyday and finally came here for drinks afterwork one night. It looks elegant and sophisticated, the crowd was mostly professionals who work in the area I think? The drinks and service are just fine, though I can't comment on their food. read more

I've been here numerous times for various meals. Of course, it's a chain. Yet, this one is a hit or miss. I've had great brunches, but terrible happy hours and dinners. It's a central location near Holborn and many bus stops, but needs something a bit more! read more

Surprisingly ok! Popped in here over lunch and was pleased that it was an in-and-out straightforward experience. It was busy enough that we had to wait for a table, but not for very long. Very bright, clean and cheerful. The food came quickly and it wasn't painful to find the waitress to give us the bill when we were done. What more can you ask for over the lunchtime in a busy part of London? The set lunch menus for £6.00 were simple and pretty good. The chicken sandwich was fine and my chips were a little soggy/boring, but otherwise the food was fine. I will definitely be back. read more

Came in with 2 people for dinner. There were 2 servers, they did not acknowledge us for 15 minutes. I then waited in line for 5 minutes to ask them to come to our table to take our order and the server said he would. Waited for another 15 minutes and no one showed up. I really like this place. It is lively, the staff are friendly, the food is basic but good, and the prices are OK for London. It is very popular and it is sometimes diffcult to get a table, which is a bit annoying if you want to eat and all tables are occupied by people just drinking. Burger and Chips with relish is about £9, plus beer at just under £5 a pint. Just a short walk down Kingsway from Holborn tube station. read more

Treated unwelcome by a male member of staff and categorically ignored while seated. His hospitality skills changed 3 minutes later when 3 well dressed females and a man came in. They were seated next to me on a long high table and he took their orders before mine. I left instantly this place with such selective professionalisme but not without neatly telling this waiter that his deliberate sexist behaviour was noticed. A bar for all but not for one; avoid when male and on your own. Not even worth one star! read more
