I have to say I was very impressed during my initial contact with the Company. My first call to MIA Construction Services was picked up immediately by a live person - I did not expect that type of experience in this industry. I can also confirm that all communication throughout the project was carried out in a similar way - even on weekends. The young lady I spoke with was a clear communicator that efficiently setup an appointment for an estimate. The representative that arrived at my place on the prescribed date for the estimate was extremely polite, very professional, and overall impressive. This individual, which turned out to be the Owner of the firm, thoroughly gathered requirements asking for details and fixture specs that could significantly affect the scope and price of the project. In retrospect, this through conversation really helped make my estimate accurate without any "surprises" along the way. I also appreciated that the company understood the hesitation I possessed after being "burned" by the previous contractor. MIA Construction offered a payment schedule that secured payments only after demonstration of milestone accomplishment - this fact alone won my trust. Over the next 5-6 weeks, I grew to trust and appreciate MIA Construction Services more and more. I never experienced any anxiety letting the team into my home, in fact, I knew I could trust and enjoy each person I met. Obviously, the project encountered design challenges and nuances once they walls came down, but when any issues arose, MIA escalated the topic quickly and we used team work to find a practical solution. After repeated unanswered calls to try and pay the cost upfront (cash as they claim to not accept credit cards), I began to shop around and spoke with BRICKELL BLINDS who charged half the price, came out to confirm the job on the same day and replaced the motor days later.
