Multiple times we found him sitting for hours in a diaper soaked with urine, and sometimes with feces as well. His clothes would also be soiled, and staff often would not change him until a family member specifically told them to. Almost every time I visited, the hallway floor where his room was located smelled strongly like feces as soon as I got off the elevator. I hoped it was not coming from him, but as I got closer to his room, the smell would get worse and it often was him left unchanged. No patient should be left like that for hours. Many patients were left in bed all day everyday with little to no activity or engagement. Our experience was heartbreaking and I would not recommend this facility based on how my loved one was cared for.

I could not say enough about how happy we are with all the staffs and especially Maria (PT). She is so compassionate, dedicated, motivated to help and has a wonderful manner. Rest of the staff always made an effort to make all of us feel comfortable and welcomed. The entire staff exceeded my expectations which is not always easy. If you are looking for a pediatric therapy provider, this is the place you need to call first.

She asked what happened and he said he hates the way he talks. When my wife asked the babysitter what happened, she said she couldn't understand him and she tried to correct him and he broke down. We don't know exactly what happened, but my little guy didn't want to talk at school anymore. We spoke to his doctor and the school and both recommended speech therapy. The school couldn't accommodate us so we went through Kaiser and we got approval here at DG. It's been 3 weeks now and my son is doing great! He speaks more clearly and, most importantly, he feels better about himself and he speaks up at school and even gave the welcome address at our church! The therapist he works with, Joanna, is super patient and kind and my son just loves her. He looks forward to his weekly therapy and is excited with his progress. They're located on the second floor of a plain looking building. There's lots of parking but the access is only on the north side of the street, so if you're going south, you'll have to find a place to make a U-turn. Getting out of here sucks, too, because you can only turn right, and there's no U-turn allowed at the light, so it's turn on a side street and get back on to Sunset. It's a medical building, so you still have to wear a mask, so be on notice. However, physical location aside, this place is really great. I've seen some special needs kids in here and they always leave with a smile. You can tell the staff here really enjoy their work and seeing the progress of the kids. My 4 year old is waiting for his authorization for OT and when he gets it, we're coming here. In fact, they're already saving a place form him on the same day as my other son. Nice!

I am able to communicate with our therapist instantly and Mariah and Vedali are quick and responsive to my children's needs. Mariah works with my son and every time he reaches his goal she provides new evaluations and appropriate individualized treatment plans for my son. Also, after every session Mariah summarizes and provides examples of my son's improvement (with data) and offers recommendations for continued growth. Mariah has also provided me with school material and collaborated with me to offer recommendations to my children's Pre School teachers. Vedali works with my daughter and I can tell that my daughter loves her speech sessions bc she is always excited about her meetings. Vedali has implemented my daughters IEP report and Kaiser's assessment to her treatment plan at DV Therapy. Like Mariah, Vedali meets with me after every session and provides me with a summary of my daughters growth and tips to continue empowering my daughters speech deficits. I highly recommend DV Therapy for your children speech services. Celina (front desk clerk) offers reminders and quickly provides parents with make up sessions. Mariah and Vedali are understanding and responsive not only to my children's needs but receptive to my concerns as a parent.

I see I'm not the only one who's struggling to get a response back from this clinic. I'm trying to help a family member receive ST services as recommended by her care team. There aren't many in the ST clinics in the area that services adults, and seems like DV would be a good fit, right? No. They never got back to me after I left a voicemail, filled out a new client inquiry, and emailed them on their website portal. I've even left a 1 star review on google to see if they would respond. Nothing. Still no response after several months. The lack of communication makes it difficult for caregivers to seek services for their loved ones who really need specific therapies to improve their QoL. This is ridiculous and a huge disservice for potential clients seeking help.
