Amazing work! Justin was very prompt, quick and incredibly quiet (Dogs didn't even know he was here). I had my solar panels installed less than a year ago and had no idea how filthy they could get. WARNING Do not let this company on your property without requesting and verifying they have all in-place liability, workers comp and property damage policies. Request their certificates of insurances and then verify them with the insurance agency listed on the top of the forms to make sure they are valid. Here is my story. All Clean Solar ("ACS") was recommended by my solar installer, Green Convergence ("GC"). I had ACS clean my solar panels a year ago on my Pasadena, CA house. They sent photos and all seemed well. This year they asked if they could return and I said yes. When they did, they cleaned the panels and then I got a phone call from ACS (Justin Morton) who had advised me one of my panels was cracked and Justin said he called my solar company GC to report it. I was stunned at both the fact my solar panel was cracked and that Justin had called my solar installer BEFORE calling me. I asked how the panel got cracked and Justin @ ACS said "I have no idea, but it looks like someone stepped on it." Well I said the only person on my roof was your guys and perhaps they cracked it. Of course Justin denied this and since I was at work when the cleaning was done I could not prove he was the one who cracked it. So in summary, 1) do not hire them, clean your own panels yourself or simply let the rain do it naturally as designed. 2) do not make my mistake and definitely ask for all copies of insurance. Luckily my friend did when I referred ACS to my friend (before the break of course). After my friend requested certificates of insurance on all their policies, Justin at ACS never returned my friend's call. This proves they are a scam company. 3) Justin does not clean your panels nor probably does ACS. They most likely contract with a group of guys that show-up to clean the panels who are probably (in my opinion) not employees and not insured themselves. Keep in mind, if workers are uninsured and fall off your roof, they will sue you into the poor house. You will have no recourse. 4) Should you ultimately hire someone to clean your panels, make sure they are insured, bonded and the people cleaning the panels are covered under the policy and not some independent third party contractors that do the actual cleaning. if that is the case, you have no recourse against Justin and ASC and probably not your own home-owners policy. I have a solar system in Baja, Mexico that requires regular cleaning to get top performance. I've done this myself and it's a pain to get them spotless with the hard water I have to do the job. My system in Culver City is close enough to the beach to get dew and easily collects the dirt, so cleaning is a must to get top performance. When I understood that All Clean Solar was going to use "DI" water, I knew it was going to be a fast and professional job. You just can "spray and forget". the dirt has to be removed completely.
