Our solar panels had become very dirty, and I started to look for a company to clean them. I came across an ad for DJ Solar Cleaning on Instagram that looked interesting. I was afraid it could be some sort of scam, so I booked a cleaning and did not give them any information other than my address. This did not phase them one bit. As scheduled, a young man with DJ Solar Cleaning showed up and did an outstanding job cleaning my solar panels. He was professional and finished the job in less than 30 minutes. He also quoted me the exact same price for the cleaning as he had when I inquired via Instagram. He was very neat, getting very little water on my patio other than where the gutter spout came down from the roof and that is where water is designed to go. After the cleaning service, I asked the technician how often I should schedule additional cleanings. He said it depended on how quick the panel got dirty again. He explained he had some customers who had their panels cleaned every 3 months and others who did it once a year. He estimated I would be fine having mine cleaned every year, but recommended I put a reminder on my phone to check the panels in six months to see how dirty they had become. That answer made me believe I was dealing with an honest person. I will definitely be using DJ Solar Panel Cleaning again!! read more

Unfortunately, our experience with this company was disappointing. After the solar panel cleaning service was completed, a significant amount of residue and mud-like debris was left on our roof. At no point before or during the service were we informed that this could occur. When my wife contacted the company to discuss the issue and seek a resolution, the owner abruptly ended the call instead of addressing our concerns. We found this response to be unprofessional and unacceptable. Customer service and communication are just as important as the quality of the work performed. Had we been properly informed about the potential for residue buildup and treated respectfully when raising our concerns, this situation could have been handled much differently. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company for solar panel cleaning services read more

DJ Exterior Services is great! They have trustworthy staff and pay great attention to detail! Highly recommend!

Avoid this business at all cost! They come to clean your solar and leave your roof, backyard and patio full of mess and leave and the owner is pretty rude. They are overpriced for the level of service they provide and the owner is very rude and doesn't want to listen at all. Maybe he needs to stick with Christmas Lights but I won't trust him near my house at all! Just be careful! read more

DJ Exterior Services are top notch AND very affordable. Darren and his crew have been cleaning my solar panels for about three years now, every six months. They use the correct ionized water for solar panels cleaning. When I first got my panels in 2015, I didn't know I had to get them cleaned. Silly me, I assumed that when it rained, my panels would get cleaned. In 2020, Semper Solaris installed a PowerWall into my system and they told me I should get them cleaned, so I finally did. Now I get my panels cleaned every six months. DJ Exterior Services sends me before and after photos of my panels - What a difference! And the TESLA app shows me that my energy production actually increases a tiny bit after the panels are cleaned! I also used DJ Exterior Services when I replaced all the window screens on all my windows and patio door. I had no idea technology had advanced on window screens such that the screens are practically invisible. They also replaced a warped window screen frame so it fits beautifully on my front window. I highly recommend DJ Exterior Services for their knowledge, expertise, professionalism, and affordability. read more

Great work!! Super happy with the quality and workmanship of my new screens. Good price for the quality

This is honestly one of the best vendor decisions I've made since being a homeowners! They responded quickly to my inquiry, were at my home the next day for an estimate, and the quote was the MOST fair and affordable I've ever encountered. I honestly was like, um, do you know what your competitors are charging? They knew. And they didn't care. They were going to charge this fair and affordable rate regardless. The difference in price kind of blew my mind. They completed our job BEAUTIFULLY and were so patient with us as we fixed some fascia we needed to address in order for the gutters to be successful (a company that wants a job done right is a GREEN FLAG). The workers were kind and clearly knowledgeable. The color and materials of the gutters look SUPER high end. And being seamless, look amazing. We got rain the next week and couldn't believe how much better our drainage was. No more crazy puddles and pooling at the foundation. Definitely give them a call if you think you can't afford incredible gutters, you totally can. Zero hidden fees and a warranty. read more

Moved into a new house and nearly every window screen needed full replacement or repair, some completely missing. We couldn't open more than half of our windows. Darren and team came through and there's no other way to describe their process than a well-oiled machine. They were kind, honest, and extremely efficient. They replaced what needed to be replaced and made every effort to repair what could be repaired, clearly doing what they could to keep costs low. End of the day, we had 20+ brand new screens and the value was incredible. They ended up doing the same for my sister that same day. We were so pleased with the window screens, we coordinated solar panel cleaning through Darren and team as well. The guys were so awesome. Came through, explained exactly what they were going to do. Their process is very cool, no chemicals or anything that could damage the solar. Just like the window screens, super efficient. They shot me pictures after the cleaning and it was night and day. Checked the app and literally the minute after cleaning, the solar panels were performing better. All in all, both services are well worth the cost. Solar cleaning and the performance gained basically pays for itself. Having window screens and actually being able to open windows for fresh air is invaluable. These were just great guys that were a pleasure to do business with. Thank you Darren and Team! read more

Quality and attention to detail. This crew does it all. My 100+ year old farm house desperately needed new screens on the traditional screen porch. They came up with a plan and gave me back my views. The price was half of what I anticipated, and what other contractors proposed. The way they custom design. The screens did not takeaway from the old school style. They're easy to maintain and clean. While they were here, they cleaned all 22 of my windows and a garden window. I cannot say enough about the quality and the respect. They showed me my property and my pets. I will definitely have them return each season. Gutters, window cleaning this point.Holiday lights, they do it all. These are my new go to crew to make the exterior of my house. Look, amazing year, round! read more

Dirty Solar panels won't operate correctly, unless you clean them up regularly and it must be one of the rules which should be followed by every Solar panel household. Based on our 5 years experience and lots of strugglings, it is not an easy job, needs it's own equipments and efforts. DJ Solar and Windows Cleaning mobile service is one of the best and it was our first try. They were super friendly, fast, professional, and of course very knowledgeable. They cleaned up our 21 Solar panels in less than 30 minutes with their own fully equipments! They have their own car, pressure washe, special brushes, water hose which is connected to their own car to water tank, and cleaning solutions. Because they carry everything in their car, they need to have access to the roof from the front side of the house. Less than 30 minutes our solar panels got cleaned by Darren, no more hassle, YEY! Very happy with DJ Solar cleaning services, definitely will follow up every 6 months as Darren recommended. Very professional, quick, and of course very fair price. read more

If you want to save more money on your electric and have clean windows and maybe some screens replace or repaired please don't wait. The build up on your panels can keep out precious energy to your savings. Cleaning with a hose is ok but then you get calcium build up.
