It's now been 3 weeks since moving out and they're still holding onto my security deposit. I would avoid using them as your property management team as they never check in on your property and I'd avoid renting from them as operate in shady ways, like keeping a security deposit for no reason other than being an irritation.

Depending on the state of your home (ours was looking pretty dated), your property could be ready for listing in as early as a week. Or in our case, as late as a month. As you might assume, it's a lot easier to sell a home when no one is living in it. Unfortunately, we didn't have that option, so Lorette had to work around our busy schedules. That meant hiding all of our personal belongings at a moment's notice (for those sudden showing requests), and actually making our bed every day, like civilised people. All the while, we were in the process of figuring out where we wanted to buy our next home.
