Very satisfied with Doors and installation. Purchased a new front door and storm door.

We ordered and had a $6,000+ front door installed about a year ago and today I just Called them for the 12th time due to faulty door hardware and faulty installation!!! The instal crew of 4 that installed the door did it wrong so they had to have TONY come and re-install the door!!! Since then it's been a comedy of incompetence and TONY has been back 10+ times!!! They only have 1 person "TONY" that knows how to do anything!!!! Without TONY they'd be out of business!!! Do yourself a HUGE favor, when you consider TR door & window, call ANDERSEN! We wish we did again because ALL the work they did for us was done perfect and no return calls!!! read more

From our initial consultation to measuring to scheduling extremely professional. Installers Tony and Canello were A+++! Courteous and knowledgeable these two men worked barely taking a break in the high heat. Everything was neat and tidy and back in its place as each room was completed. I had my rear patio door and bedroom window replaced. Chris and Wayne did an amazing job. The finished work areas were neat and clean.

We spontaneously stopped by the store to look at doors and storms to replace our current 35+ year-old home. We sat with Jack who helped us create a design we loved. A couple of hours later, we shook hands and were told someone would call to set up an appointment for measuring and assessing the areas. Good to their word, the measuring was completed, the doors were ordered and we were told to expect the doors to be ready in 8-12 weeks (but probably much sooner). We called and spoke with Lindsay during the last week in March. She told us she had just been looking through orders and saw ours was in. She then set an appointment for April 1st. Unfortunately, it was pouring that day but the guys, Fernando and Nikola, still showed up at the house. They double-checked the measurements and work areas and said they'd be back on the 4th. The guys came on time, were fully setting up shop in the front and back yards, and got to work. They had a little difficulty dealing with our un-squared older home, but did everything to make the doors perfectly level. They took care of all the clean-up, showed us how to use the built-in screens, and test the locks. When we got to the back door, my husband noticed a bend in the aluminum molding which exposed some sharp areas below. Fernando said it must have happened during shipping, but if we wanted to have it replaced, we had to call the office. Friday morning, the 5th, we called the office and spoke to Lindsay who asked that we take a photo of the area and send it to the office, which we did. She said they would review the photo and get back to us with a resolution. Friday, the 12th, we called the office again and got Lindsay. We asked if there were any updates to resolving our issue. She said she couldn't remember, but someone had said something about it and she looked through some papers. Then Lindsay told us she could set up an appointment for the 16th between 2-4 p.m., and Fernando would come back out to fix the issue. At roughly 11:00 a., Jimmy arrived and told us they were working on another home close by. He assessed and measured the area, and told us he would be back shortly to take care of the issue. He did, and aside from a small dent in the aluminum, the exposed, sharp edges were covered. read more

This is my third time purchasing from TRDW. Had four windows total installed in 2012 /2013. Perfect to this date and still look new in 2021 and perfect seals no issues. In July 2020 I saved up to finally replace the rest. 14 more windows. Also made by Sunrise but this time all with the NRG which reduces noise from outside. Mike Varcardipane was my sales man. He is 100% honest up front just like the salesman I had twice in 2012/2013 who retired after. Mike told me in July that all the manufacturers were having delays so what used to be 3-4 weeks was 7+. Of course no fault of TRDW, sunrise had an outbreak had to shut plant etc so eventually got my windows. TRDW Installed end of Dec 2020, amazing difference with new windows. Well worth the wait. Much more comfortable, I set thermostat four degrees less, heat doesn't run as much.. Much less noise indoors. I have a stucco outside of my house. It's a custom built home dating to the 1940s. Installers installed the end caps, caulked, etc for my upstairs and floor one windows. Looked perfect day of installations for all 14 i bought. Did get warmer during New Years so some sections for caulk where it meets stucco separated in four different sections. I took pics sent to Mike over that weekend, installers returned next business day, fixed and had been perfect ever since regardless of temperature. Literally, they do a phenomenal job and understand customer service. I gladly paid and my check cleared to them fast. They been around in business longer than I have been alive.. And they are very busy for good reason. If you want something done right, you ask a busy person. If you want your windows installed right and to last a long time, you have TRDW sell and install them. They are not home depot.. TRDW are skilled workers, and honest from the salesman to the installers. You get what you pay for so I give them my highest recommendation. read more

I could have gone anywhere to buy replacement windows, I went to Toms River Door and Window and they made me cry. It was such a big deal in my life to get to buy 20 windows for my home of 28 yrs. MIKE VARCADIPANE Sales Mgr. completely destroyed any joy when he began harassing to get him paid.Ordered 7/20, installed 11/20. The long delay for my install caused the line of credit to expire. An error occurred where I didn't receive email for new approval. MIKE VARCADIPANE left messages on my phone threatening "to press charges on me for theft and breech of contract, and put a lean on my home." He told me if he didn't get paid he'd be driving down to where I live. The owner that I spoke to barely made an apology, offered me no compensation or anything to make it right including a formal apology from MIKE VARCADIPANE who had a complete mental lapse of any sort of decency or professionalism. No apology. Nothing. $17.500. in business to this company. I have reported them to the NJ DEPT. of Consumer Affairs. They are a terrible reflection on small business who I went out of my way to choose. read more

Quick installation. Friendly service. I called on a Monday and got an appointment for the very same week. I'm used to contractors scheduling weeks out and/or giving me crap about being too busy. We had a new garage door opener installed. Rep called and requested to come earlier than scheduled due to a cancellation (which worked out wonderfully for me). I just had my new storm door installed and am extremely impressed with the quality and service I received. The installer came right on time and did a great job. He even took the time to make sure my front door was properly aligned and he weather-stripped it even though I didn't request the extra work done. The storm door was absolutely better quality than those sold by the "big box" stores, and I know the installation was better than they would have done. I've already recommended Toms River Door and Window to my neighbor, and I will certainly use them again to install new French doors and a patio awning in the spring. read more
