Asked for an estimate for putting a gable vent. Jamie came out and said there wasn't enough air vents and suggested to call an insulation person. I got an insulation person out and he said there was plenty of venting available for a fan. Then a large estimate came and it also said I had to get an Electrical permit. After learning how to get a permit and paying $25.01 for it I send multiple texts to Jamie and waited for a response. I finally had to email him to get a response. The last email he changed his mind! He suggested "I recommend having a mechanical company--whoever did your furnace and AC--take a look to see if they have a better solution" I thought the customer was right when asking for something I've done before that I know works. We had some damage to our metal siding after we had some work done by a landscaping company. All Craft Exteriors was working on a neighbors house, so we decided to give them a call to see if they could send someone by to give us an estimate to repair the damage. Chad came by soon after and took at look at the situation, promising to get us an estimate by the next day. (He also noticed some of our gutters needed a couple of extra screws, and he just fixed that for us while he was here. Thanks!) We got the estimate as promised and were surprised that it was not as much as we feared it might be. Chad told us that it might be up to 30 days before they could know what day they could come by to do the work, but they called just a couple of days later and it was completed the following day by Jesse and Jared. They did a great job! (That included retrieving the pieces of the replacement siding we had stored in the rafters of our garage (Jenga-style). We will probably need a window replaced sometime in the next year or two and we already know who we will call. Recommend! read more

I had originally went with another roofer in Rochester, Minnesota for work on a roof however they demanded half of the payment upfront, which I had received a check from insurance and so I did but then they couldn't get it in the fall and said they will get it in the spring, but they wanted to hold onto my money until that which I thought was ridiculous that they would interest on money For six months while they did nothing so I demanded my money back and contacted all craft, knowing that I have received insurance payment just needed a small sum of money to hold it and place me on the job list for the next spring. They came out, redid my roof, gutters and soffits and the work done professionally and the result was excellent. It's been several years and I've had zero issues with the work done. I'm rating All Craft exteriors 5 stars even though I have not seen any of their work. (I live in a different state) Why would I give a company 5 stars when I haven't seen what they do? Here's why: In 2013, my son needed a new roof so we contacted several roofers we found on ANGIES LIST. We provided each with a professionally drawn commercial roofing spec obtained from a friend who is in that business. Of all the companies we contacted, Darrien said he would contact me with an estimate but never did. Toby said he would contact my son to get access to his attic. He didn't. Rodger said he would email me an estimate. I'm still waiting... Ryan said he would check the roof the next time he is in Winona. Still waiting... Another contractor told us he could do the work but "I'm not the cheapest". He didn't give us a written estimate. So we gave up but revisited this again during the early months of 2014. My son contacted All Craft exteriors who promptly got back with us and provided a written estimate. They revised the estimate to reflect some additional work after climbing the roof. All my questions about work needed, licensing, permits, timeframe etc were answered right away. An email sent to All Craft at 10PM at night was usually replied to at 10:15PM. I did not have to wait days for Brent to call me back. This impressed me because it showed interest on their part to want to work with me as a customer. The work was performed right on schedule (a day's delay due to rain) and was completed within the timeframe originally set by All Craft. A final invoice was sent and shortly thereafter a lien-waver which marked the conclusion of the job. I spoke with my son a few times during the process. He took pictures of the roof, both in progress and at the end. He told me it looks really nice. On asking him how he would rate the contractors on workmanship, cleanliness and professionalism, he said they were 5 out of 5 stars. The true test will come after some heavy rains at which time I might add or edit this review. Replacing a roof is an expensive proposition. A reliable and trustworthy contractor who takes his customer seriously is essential. I feel I made the right choice by using All Craft. read more

Bob came by and looked at the damage, explained the process, and even gave me tips on how I could get the job done without their help if that worked better for my budget. this place does the worse job at installing gutter I that I have ever seen. not only there was nails and other parts in the yard and drive way they never came back to clean up after them self. I have had to fishiness putting the screws in the gutters my self and had to repairer part of my house bc the did not put all the screws in bc it came off the house. the part the metal that is behind the gutter is missing so the wood is getting wet. with now be winter I will wait intel summer to do it (saw that when I put x mas lights up). I wish I never had them come. been dealing with this since I had them put on last spring. I ran in to one of the people that I found out the worked there and they even said that the guy who installed the gutter has done this before but the sales man said it has never happened before and he was shocked that I had a box full of nails and pieces of metal and other parts left over. but I think the worse part of everything is my kids that under 6 at the time finding nails all over. I don't like to say bad things about people but they will never come to my place again ever. read more
