I have been very impressed by All Dental Westboro for several reasons. First, although my last dentist suggested I needed an expensive service, All Dental did not feel the service was necessary. Second, Daisy, a dental assistant, made it a point to make sure I was always comfortable and let me know whatever service she would do before she began. Thirdly, Daisy always prepared me for the possibility of pain, even if it was minor. Thirdly, Dr Mazo was also genuinely concerned by my level of comfort and explained every service before starting. I'm new to the area and had a bad toothache, so I called to make an emergency appointment. I told the front desk that I wanted the one tooth looked at, I wrote it on the paperwork, and the assistants x-rayed the one spot that was causing concern. So I expected the dentist would advise me on what they can do with that tooth. Instead, he looked at my xrays with a defeated look, checked my mouth and proceeded to tell me all the work he will do, presented me the printed details and said it's going to be expensive to start borrowing the money. As someone who already has anxiety going to a dentist this was not what I was looking for. He didn't ask why I was there nor focus on why I made the appointment. He also admitted there was no communication between staff to even let him know why I was there. Needless to say I'm not going back. read more

I used to go here to see Dr. Lender and another specialist there. This is literally a money-making scheme they have going on here. I had a root canal and some fillings done. The crown that they put on my tooth after the root canal gave me a lot of trouble and pain so I went back. Dr. Lender told me that once the crown is set, there is nothing he can do and did not seem helpful or cooperative at all. Additionally, when I was there, Dr. Lender and his assistants kept talking to each other in Russian or some other language that I couldn't understand and I didn't know if they were discussing my case or not. In any case, it was highly unprofessional and rude. So, anyway I continued to go back there because my tooth was still hurting me. Then one fine day, Dr. Lender tells me that he can remove my crown and put a new one and that I would have to cover the cost all over again. I was shocked to hear him say that because he had previously mentioned that removing my crown was not possible. On top of all this scamming, the crown broke soon after because he had used an all-porcelain crown on a molar tooth although these are never used on molars. He did it because they are more costly which enabled him to earn more money. Stay away from Dr. Julian Lender and his unethical practices. He only cares to make money at any cost. I would highly recommend Dr. Urban for any difficult procedures from bone grafts to gum work .... when I was hit from the back by a car, I broke two teeth and he did the required gum work to fix the tooth and put on a new crown. He's also excellent in dental implants. I had no pain with him whatsoever. Even AFTER the surgery (and I needed 4 done at two separate times). Once last March and once last May. I'm not sure if that's normal not to have any pain after a dental implant but it just attests to how great of a doctor he is. He gives you his cell, he texts you back if you are worried about anything. He's super friendly, I have never heard anything bad about him. He's also funny on a personal level once you get to know him. He's just not all business. read more

Apparently you are forever going to deny my existence. So now I'm back. I had a lot of dental work done over $35,000.00. I thought he was a bit expensive but I wanted the work done right. Well that didn't happen either. the seven implants worked out well but the major part of the work he did was root canals and crowns. many of which FAILED. The crowns that failed I noted were not cemented in properly, almost built to fail. I even had one root canal post fall right out of its socket. I am the most frightened of the dentist of all the people I know. I started going to All Dental after I had an incredibly bad experience at the dentist I was using after moving into the Worcester area. Dr. Lender was nice and he talked me into a root canal which I was not confident would stay and I was right. What that experience did though was get me to meet Dr. Urban. I have gone to many and I mean MANY dentists in my life and there is not one who can hold a candle to Dr. Urban. He is extremely gentle as he knows how petrified I am, he gives me the best care (him and the staff) and even though I have moved up to north of Concord NH I am still going to him. Had a terrible and painful experience with All Dental of Westborough. My father was having no issues, had never even gotten a cavity in his life, and was having routine cleaning. He was told he needed a filling and my father agreed. When they numbed him, the doctor said he went deeper than he thought, and on the day of COVID-19 closures in MA, he was told he needed a root canal. He had no choice but to get an emergency endodontic treatment costing thousands of dollars. After the procedure, They checked in three months later (last week) and asked whether he wants to get root canal. My father went through so much pain and suffering and told them that he no longer wants to go to this office, and made sure all matters were settled. But, within a few days, they sent a bill for $237 as the final settlement. After recieving the bill, he called the doctor's office and they were insisting on this payment and that it has not been paid yet, and were extremely rude in this phone exchange. Upon further insistence by my father, he setup a 3-way calling with his insurance company. On a recorded line, the insurance company clearly showed evidence of payment from my Dad's account. And the doctor's office already cashed one of two checks in March itself... All said and done, a perfectly healthy person had to go through pain and an awful lying office about finance. Overall, terrible service, a financial mess and an absolute lack of care with utter rudeness from the office manager. read more

I'm a fairly new patient. The practice is close to home. The office is clean & spacious & the staff seem knowledgeable. However, I find some of the reviews here a little unsettling. And I'm questioning, with HIPAA the law of medical practice especially, if office staff going into files to try and locate patients even strictly on a first name, first initial of last name basis goes against privacy policy, and if there is so much business in the office, where is there the time to be going into files to do this and say "We can't find a patient in our records named ____ _?" read more

All dental:- Very money minded. Always suggest deep cleaning.. even they were not doing regular cleaning because my wife needed deep cleaning. When we taken appointment for deep cleaning they wasted full day saying they do not have capability to do deep cleaning. My new doctor.. no deep cleaning needed. They always saying me too need deep cleaning but my new dentist no deep cleaning needed. There front desk - they do not have any information and they will call for appointment. Please first provide full information to your front desk then call the people. I have been called for deep cleaning but they ended taking x-ray...and then saying we do not have capability to do it. I came in as a new patient back on February and had the best cleaning I had in years. My hygienist was very knowlagable and gentle! After that a few crowns put in and currently working on an implant. I was new to the area and since it was convenient I made an appt. for a cleaning. I was told that I needed a "Deep Cleaning" to which I agreed. A short while later after this procedure was done I had an abscess near a molar which was quite painful. To their credit it was over a holiday weekend and I was prescribed a pain killer and antibiotic. Since things were not clearing up I saw them again and with an Xray it was determined that I needed a root canal. I made an appt. for that but in the meantime out of curiosity I came across this website. I wasn't sold on their diagnosis and very suspicious of a laundry list of things that had been suggested earlier on my first visit which included replacement of some older fillings etc. Needless to say I decided to get a second opinion and I was glad I did as it turns out a root canal was not needed and as it was explained to me the "Deep Cleaning" resulted in bacteria getting under the gum in this particular area. I was advised to watch the situation and be diligent about brushing and flossing. I would also advise all to stay away from this business. In addition you can clearly see by the absence of customers in their waiting room that they are out of business and just don't know it!!! read more

I started with Dr.Mazo but was very uncomfortable with how he rushed me while working on 2 other patients at the same time. I had a partial made and have gone back for 4 adjustments and still can't wear it d/t the pain it causes. I am trying to be patient and continue to go back for adjustments. I plan on calling the BBB if this is not resolved. This is not a high tech dental procedure. If they can't take a good dental impression, how can they be trusted with high tech dental procedures? Worst dentist ever specially Dr. Lender. He did four fillings, three on the right side and one on left. I had severe pain for two days which am not supposed to have. I went back to them, he couldnt figure out what the issue was. So, he re-did my filling again. After four days, I still have pain and sensitivity right side. I am so disturbed by their behavior..my 9 year old had an appointment with All Dental..her front gum was completely swollen, there was a lump hanging on her front tooth..they gave me an appointment with Dr.Lender he knew it was a carelessness of his staff he was nervous & referred me to a gum specialist from same office..I went back for the appointment..he was fake nice was conveniently suggesting to get a surgical procedure done to remove the gum which would take few weeks to heal & ofcourse $$ coming out of my pocket..I don't understand they pull out her gum & then will fix it performing a $1000 surgery this gum specialist saw my daughter for the first time ever & claims she always had a swollen big chunk of the gum...when I pulled out her pictures from a day or 2 before the appointment he was fidgeting because her gums were perfectly fine in the pictures..they said I can talk to Dr.Andrey Mazo apparently the owner..my husband went to see him he was apologetic yet he said there was nothing he could do...we thought atleast this guy was sorry about it so lets wait & see or get a second opinion if the swelling doesn't go in a week or so...Guess what a week later we receive a letter from them saying "we regret to inform you that due to administrative policies of our practice we have decided to cancel our doctor-patient relationship and dismiss your family from our office."
