We waited a full year to share our experience with All Dogs Unleashed to reflect the long-term impact on our dogs. While staff were friendly, the program felt largely misrepresented to us. In October 2024, we enrolled our two dogs (8 y/o + 2 y/o) in a 4-week board-and-train program specifically to address resource guarding. Both dogs had a history of resource guarding, which we had managed successfully, but the behavior had recently escalated and we wanted professional support. We were assured multiple times that resource guarding would be addressed through individualized obedience training. Communication during training was limited. We had to initiate contact, and updates generally indicated that the dogs were doing well. No concerns were raised to us about their behavior or suitability for the program. Upon returning home, our younger dog appeared extremely fearful and hesitant, taking nearly 15 minutes to approach us despite reassurance. During the "live demo," commands like "place" were enforced with excessive e-collar corrections. The dogs seemed confused, stressed, and did not appear to have any understanding of the commands being given. Bad manners, like jumping, were still present even during this session. When we asked how resource guarding had been addressed, the sole reason we signed up, the trainer said, "We never saw this behavior ourselves, so it wasn't addressed," without further elaboration. The dogs displayed resource guarding behaviors during this session, and she instructed us to "just use the e-collar whenever they do something you don't want," which directly contradicted advice from the manager that punishing guarding could significantly worsen it. When we raised concerns multiple times both during this session and afterward, we generally felt dismissed and were told for a long time to "let them adjust" before seeking more training. Our youngest began frequently urinating in her crate, a behavior she had never displayed before. When we asked about this, we were recommended to see a vet. They did offer another training session, but we ultimately felt it was not the right decision to continue with them. A veterinarian confirmed her urination was stress-related, consistent with the behaviors we noticed during the return session. She has since required daily anti-anxiety medication for fear-based behaviors that arose immediately after she returned home. Over a year later, their obedience is unchanged from before the program, and we have had to cope with long-term stress and anxiety for our dogs. We spent about $5,000 on a program that failed to address our primary concern and left lasting negative effects on us. We don't recommend this business and encourage anyone seeking professional training to choose a trainer whose approach is tailored to their dogs' specific needs and training goals. read more

We are so pleased with the training for our Belgian Malinios at All Dogs Unleashed. We were able to plan their training program around a family trip and their pick up and drop off was so convenient. Their communication was quick and super kind. Hilary picked up our pup Monica and then Aubry, who was a significant part of Monica's training, dropped her off and showed us how to handle our pup now that she has learned her manners. Monica doesn't bark unnecessarily, and knows how to stop barking when asked. She does not run out of the house when I'm unloading groceries. And the craziest thing, she doesn't steal my toddlers food from the coffee table. Walking on a leash without pulling is another miracle she learned while in the care of All Dogs Unleashed. Their program was worth every penny and I wish we did it sooner! read more

Just personal preference, i did not like camp bc i didn't realize it was all shock collar training. Call me a baby but i wasnt willing to continue to keep the shock collar on for like 18 hrs a day. We have 2 high energy German Shepherd puppies that we brought home at 8 weeks old. We knew from the beginning that training would be key as our pups would be big (their dad weighs 130 lbs). The pups needed to be 5 months old to do the boarding training here so before then we had one of their trainers (Aubry) come out a few times to give us some tips and suggestions. When we sent the boys to the boarding training they were 5 months and 7 months old. They are good, loving and very BIG puppies at 60 and 80 lbs. Our biggest struggle with them was jumping on people (an 80 lb puppy jumping on a child or pregnant woman is dangerous). We also struggled with taking them for walks as they were serious leash pullers and are very strong. We stopped walking them around the neighborhood because it was too stressful and not fun for any of us. We sent them to training for 3 weeks to coincide with our summer vacation. They've been back with us for a week. When Aubry brought them home to us she spent quite allot of time with us to demonstrate their new skills and make sure we were comfortable with the commands as well as the corrections. Results: We absolutely could not be happier!!!! Our boys came back the same loving boys but we now go for walks 3 times a day and have so much fun doing it! We are exploring all over the place now with our well behave dogs who stay within inches of us with no pulling. Even when they are released to explore they still obey commands and no puling. We've also had children over as well as contractors and, while still super excited, they are not jumping! We are very, very happy with the results and excited to continue advanced training as they get older. Highly recommended! read more

We have a one year old Mini Bernedoodle who was a high energy dog that was very sweet but on occasion exhibits domestic terrorist tendencies. She is smarter than my wife and I so we were not successful with training her. After her two week boot camp, she came home a changed dog. Still sweet but now she obeys commands and is night and day different. The training she received and the time they spent getting us up to speed were well worth the cost of the program. We weren't sure how much longer we could actually keep our hound because he was incredibly stubborn and hard headed. ADU was our last hope. We chose the 2 week train and board program (which actually took 3 weeks because of his stubbornness). I was slightly worried that Remington would have been brought back to us with a different personality, but he truly is the same happy/adventurous puppy we sent away. What we have now is a lovable, trainable and manageable dog. This isn't a miracle program where you send your dog away and they come back perfect. Training does has to continue on the owners part in order to maintain that level of discipline needed for your dog. As long as you keep up with the training and instructions provided, I believe this program will be beneficial for any owner who is having problems training their pup. read more

They said that if we needed additional training they could provide it or also when we kenneled our dog, they would continue with training while he was there. I must have called 15 times and emailed and never got a reply back. We were interested in extra training and kenneling for our dog, but also training for another dog we got. Jerrett did a great job with Griff. She is a very athletic dog and now she is equally well-behaved - even on days when we can't get her out for a run. We've boarded Griff with Jerrett many times since and Griff always comes back happy and better behaved than the when he picked her up. I just want to say a big thanks to Jerret for all he has done for my dog Yoda. I handed a dog over to Jerret that was anxious, hyperenergetic and unresponsive to commands. I took him to Puppy training on my own but did not got the results I wanted. I came to realize that I did not have the time or expertise to produce the dog that I ultimately wanted. Fast forward 4 weeks after handing him over to Jerret and Yoda has come back a wonderful dog. He is an absolute dream come true. He is now calm, focused and obedient. He went from darting out the door to stoping at my back door and waiting until I say "OK" to let him go out the back door. He comes to me when called. He stays by my side when I walk and he place's like a champ. He won't budge until I give him the release command. He barely grabs any socks, slippers or anything else that's on the floor. If he does we just tell him to drop it and he won't do it again. Jerret did tell us that we would need to continue to work on the exercises with him but it's really easy. After a week of having him back and spending about 10-15 minutes with Yoda in the morning and about 10-15 minutes with him in the evening he keeps getting better and better. It really doesn't take alot of effort to keep up with the training but now instead of being frustrated he is a joy to dod the exercises with. And...he can do all these things with distractions. I gave this board/train facility 1 star but I would never allow my puppy to return to this training facility. Jarrett Harris the owner of all dogs unleashed picked up my puppy on 06/05/14 and under a contract agreement kept my puppy until 07/01/14. When Jarrett returned my puppy both her eyes were red/inflamed. Jarrett was questioned about this and he responded with he knew her eyes had been red for days but it was not serious - he said it was allergies? I have had my puppy to the vet 2 times and she is on medications three times a day for another 10 days minimum. I texted Jarrett Harris after the 1st vet visit and he continued to dismiss his responsibility in her health care. He never contacted me during the 26 days he had my puppy under his care to alert me she was ill nor did he seek any treatment for her. Upon her return home, Jarrett forgot her collar and tags which after 3 requests I did just receive. Jarrett's texts from 07/01/14 on were that he had overnighted the collar and tags but when it arrived the postmark showed he did not mail them until 07/07/14. The contract I had with Jarrett Harris allowed him to seek medical care for my puppy and I would reimburse him the costs. Jarrett did not seek treatment for her and did not contact me so I could pick her up and take her to the vet. Jarrett's texts to me state that he misread my puppy's symptoms but did not neglect her care. I showed Jarrett's text to the vet who asked if Jarrett was a vet? Now, sadly, I have a sick puppy and a guarantee from all dogs unleashed to retrain my puppy in the future if she needs training when I will never feel comfortable returning her to all dogs unleashed. Jarrett did in his last text say that if I send him the vet medication bills he will reimburse me. The vet says that my puppy either contracted the eye infection from another dog at the facility or came in contact with something at the facility. I know there is risk when you board your animals but I feel that Jarrett Harris had contractual permission from me and a responsibility to contact me regarding my puppy's health care status. I would never recommend this facility. read more
